You got a lot of "conservative" men on here who claim to be independent but are they?
If you rely on the government, a man or the health of an industry to call yourself independent are you really just fooling yourself? Is it you providing for your family or is it your boss and environment? How useful are you really to anyone if you are forced to be independent?

don't forget, rich familiews are OLD money. meaning they have billions in real estate all over the us/canada. Which new immigrants and zoomers can't do, they can't even buy a house - let alone own 10 buildings in NYC

The trend I see is that the best people tend to come from upper middle class type families, enough resources to provide all the benefits but not raised in the lap of luxury or handed so much that they lose the hunger and don’t need to do anything — that’s where you end up with the Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk type people.

please find one quote in all my posts where i'm rooting for one side. I care about one country and that's the US. Very selective language and coping that palestian gets nearly .00001% that israel gets from the us.
You legitimately are just emotional about the topic, you dont like jews and use it as a reason as to why youre unsuccessful.. That's fine, there are actually lots of grimy jews(mostly orthodox IMO) but youre a combination of homicidal, emotional and unintelligent at the same time, which is… not great.

I'd say that it's over 90%, but then I take away a very different lesson from this: most people are average.
Most people, of whatever socioeconomic bracket, stay in that bracket, or move up or down by one place at most.
Only a small minority of people have the combination of drive and ability to drastically change their circumstances.
The problem is that average people expect an exceptional outcome. If you don't have an exceptional start in life, but you want to have an exceptional outcome, you need to be exceptional.

Some what true, part of that is if your parents are rich they likely have traits that drive them to be self disciplined and goal driven so when they have children you engrain the same work ethic into the kids.
Also succesful people have higher IQ in many cases and that can be passed down also the kids will have someone to run ideas by.
I could go on & on but it is not simply your parents are rich & that is all that matters, that is pure cope.

They have the money to send them to private schools, tutors, do lots of sports, build lots of connections (which is huge for internships etc.) and have lots of free time to do this stuff (i.e. not need to work some part time job). I could go on and on, but rich parents invest incredible amounts into almost guaranteeing a slot in an Ivy League university.
This is the issue I have with the "right" side of this debate. They provide examples of people who make it from some working class family, but those are the exceptions. It's cherry picked propaganda. Just like the left acts like it's nothing to do with hard work.
The reality is BOTH opportunity and work/skill (to execute on those opportunities) matters.

Sure, having parents that have money that can send you to better schools and get you the right help, does play a factor. However with so much financial options now it isn't quite the factor it used to be. The foundation of your mindset is so important. If your dad was all about running his own business that will be your mindset. If your dad worked under someone you probably will too. Also, with a rich dad you'll see what works and what doesn't.

Their rich parents set them up for sure and they have opportunities that most others don’t have, therefore, they have it way easier. I agree with that. But they still work hard. I work with several of them. Most of them want to make a name for themselves, despite coming from Rich families. And hence work hard. They do have a large safety net if they fail tho.
What rich people/kids don’t understand is that poor people also work hard. I came from a poor family thst valued eduction, but my family has some of the hardest working people. There are tons and tons of poor people that work hard but will never get out of thst cycle. Most Rich people lack empathy and classify poor people as lazy, which is simply not true. Most poor people are not lazy, they just didn’t have the same opportunities as well off people, and therefore they’re stuck. And by the time they realize how the game is played, they are too late.

Just pulled and linked this with a 5 sec google search:

Didnt read anything but title but it looks like what I am after.
You can add child abuse which ironically is correlated intergenerationally as being more likely and all kinds of additional variables to the point that it is literally mind boggling dead srs.
I am in a state of long term cognitive dissonance reconciling my world view with what I have learned over the last 10+ years of mostly self driven learning in regards to giving credit or blame to individuals dead srs.
