Mike Bloombergproved this theory a couple elections back. Guy who never gave a chit about running the country, spent money and nearly got elected to run the country.
I think ever since Mike proved that theory the elite classes stopped taking the "Idea" behind the U.S.A. seriously. May as well throw out all the history books, none of that chit matters anymore.
Becouse of this, this U.S.A. will never be "cooked" but will instead be a midling place in terms of QOL. The best places to live in the world are places like Finland, Switzerland, or anywhere which has strictly elected based on the needs of its natives, and not 2nd generation imigrants.
