This franchise will likely outlive everyone in this thread. And more like 16? They change things up in every iteration since 6. I just want a fun game with an awesome story.
I do wonder if they're considering being less random with it in the future. Its not a good thing for business when every game has a decent minority saying 'this isnt what I waaaaaaaant' and dont buy it etc.
