Just saying I did this twice with abnb and both times I sh*t myself cos it tanked way past what my strike was

You need to be comfortable with picking it up for way lower than 155 (and paying 155 - premium received, if that's the strike you sold) when you do this, and also seeing an unrealised loss of potentially over 1-2k (with still weeks until expiry) I.e. it could only get bigger and fuk all you can do about it.

In theory you might say that's what happens when you buy a stock generally, and it drops. And to an extent you're right except the amount here is obviously increased by a factor as its an option so it requires increased capital to leave the position early, if you felt losses were to great or your outlook on the stock changed.

Just my point of view as I've been there. It isn't as easy as it sounds on paper.

i keep thinking lumber has to crash soon. but it doesnt

look at the monthly graph. its absolutely absurd. no idea how it's supporting these levels

The miss on job report is massive. 850-950K off what analysts were predicting.
