I moved around some defi stuff a couple weeks ago and said the same thing. This was right after EIP 1559 so I chalked it up to the network trying to figure things out. It looks like high gas fees are here to stay. It's one of the reasons Solana is doing well because developers are shying away from Ethereum network.

Sup bros. What interest accounts are yous using for your BTC/ETH etc? I was a loyal Blockficel, but their rates have been tumbling, and are pretty chitty now. 0.1% on more than .035 BTC lol. no thx jeff.

Anyone got experience with crypto.com for example? or any other BTC interest accounts i could look into.
Thanks boyos

ETH 2 (PoS) will solve gas fees.

What is the most blue chip, low risk way to earn passive income in this space? Like the best I can think of is staking on Blockfi and Kraken.

Like I don't care if it's low interest rate as long as the risk of loss is super low and the returns are higher than the stock market
Das not it mayne.

Stake ETH on Coinbase.

Returns higher than stock market? Eh, apples and oranges. This is 5% fixed, compare it to a fixed income investment.

Also: โ€œrisk of loss super lowโ€ and โ€œstock market returnsโ€ makes no sense. Thereโ€™s no free lunch. I assume you mean loss of capital for nefarious reasons.

Blockfi rates are garbage for anything above a small amount. Crypto.com seems alright, but there is a lock in period. 5% ETH on Coinbase like this bro said sounds pretty decent.

Ok yeah just stake top 10 right. Coinbase is not legal in my area.

The hard thing about this space is like everyone is biased and by the time information comes out it's already at an ATH. Like so many scammers and BS fees that I just want an easy way to make passive income where I don't have to perform like 10+ transactions to move my money out or constantly monitor the markets. Idk maybe this is not for me and I'll stick to index funds or stablecoins
Das not it mayne.

I hope so. It keeps getting pushed back. On one hand I've a got a rig hashing away, OTOH my I've had to limit my defi moves and miss out on some high yields.

Ethereum is coasting on the early adoption wave right now. There are other layer 1s that have come out and have better technology.

Got an email? Friends and I are working on a decentralized social media site that allows minting of NFTs and an NFT market built into your profile (like a patreon), we can help set you up once it's done and give exclusivity for better sales (but that's a bit aways)

Who do you guys follow outside of all the big people like Richard Heart, CryptosRUs, CoinBureau etc

I need some medium sized influencers to help promote my project that are actually legit. 99% of basically most youtubers are botted accounts and videos it's so annoying.

They just pay for those articles. LUX was in a NASDAQ article in 2017.

2017 price: $40
Todays price: $0.07

It's like the "entrepreneurs" who pay for spots in Forbes.

This. You can buy any article you want on any major news site. Or, it's just someone who works in financial/tech and likely holds one of the most held cryptos around trying to spread their mental illness to others.

Anyone got any good people they follow on YT for picks/info?

whales hold 84% of bitcoin supply

retail volume doesnt matter

if a few whales want it to pump, it will pump. if dump , it will dump.

How has your experience with Celsius been? Looks like the have 4.4% on BTC, though not sure if that is for smaller amounts, or for your entire BTC holdings.

If you use the keplr wallet OR use the crypto.com desktop wallet, you can earn 20% on CRO.

This is my passive income generator at the moment. Crypto.com has proven they're more or less here to stay, and it's still early enough where they can give 20% rewards for staking.

Yes it sucks that it takes 28 days to unlock your funds, but when you consider they're not making you lock up funds for 6 to 12 months... it's a pretty awesome deal. At this point I've got automatic withdraws from my paycheck to go purchase CRO and then just forget about it.

I did a bunch this summer on OpenSea.io (just scanned some drawings my son did). Paid gas fees once which was around $150 at the time, might be higher now, but unlimited thereafter. Might look into Wax and Solana next, interested in seeing what Tezos can do with them, though it doesn't look as open and shut as OpenSea/ETH.
