I had a great week overall. I had 10k in MVIS just before it spiked. I got out when it was just over $18 dollars. That was in my YOLO trading account. The rest of my retirement accounts are balling with the S&P 500 gains.

Do you guys listen to any trading/investing podcasts? I'm trying to find some good ones to listen to while I am at work.

lol'd at the long term hold chit....I can relate getting stuck like that, luckily u generally can wait and it'll go back positive (as you know)... happened to me with RKT and ended up making decent profits after bag holding a few months

Mirin ur T u must be getting around 2k+ a year in dividends alone that's pretty sweet. I got about 550 T shares that yeilds about 1.1k a year but I re-invest for the compounding interest (99.9 shares for free so far).

Personally I'd like to see more tech exposure in your portfolio, you're holding a decent amount of companies however so you may wanna trim/consolidate and get into some tech before it takes off again, i.e. AAPL and AMZN been stagnent for a while so I'm expecting a pop sometime this year. MSFT is also doing very well but they're at an ATH however I can see them going to 300 now with this pentagon deal, the cloud, a few acquisitions etc etc

Transat financials are ugly.

They will have to get federal bailout now and probably look for another buyer.

Hoping this is good news for AC stock, have them in my long term portfolio.

Speaking of AC. Bought at $14 6 years ago. Last year it was $50ish watched it plummet and now diamond holding for next 10 years lolz. Sideway action of piss.

While the past 45 to 60 days, or most of the time that Biden has been in office, the market has traded sideways to down OTHER than some of the bellweather stocks on the DOW JONES that did not go up much the past year. However money is now pouring into those companies as the Nasdaq and other tech plays are over extended and due to Quantitative easing the $ has to go somewhere.

The market has really quieted down and volatility is down as a result. Thereby making it harder to make $. Both the Nasdaq and the OTC are MUCH quieter the past 2 months.

Right now I am high on 2 stocks and have been buying everyday.

MITI at .28 as they recently opened their first telemed health care clinic in MN, paid off all debt, and raised $3 M to open up to 7 clinics by year end with a goal of 100 or more within 3 years. Should easily be a $1 stock by June and $5 later this year.

CTYX at .16 as well. Now named Curative Bio, soon to be trading under the symbol CURB, we are waiting on the name and symbol change to officially go through with FINRA and then the flood gates to lots of news and events will be opened. I am predicting a stock price of $5 TO $10 by year end as I predict it will be bought out by a big pharma (probably an eye company).

Hope everyone is well.

I'm super bullish on TSLA but I'm expecting the 10 year yield to rise to 1.8 on Monday, srs. That will be the front headlines and will cuck everything again.

I hear you, I just feel like im late to the party with tech. I hate to invest in something that rose so much so fast. almost everything is up like 100% for the year and 30-40% from pre-covid prices. I know I have to get in that mindset "Its where they are going, not where theyre at" but I just cant bring myself to do it lol. Plus most tech stocks do not have great dividends (which shouldnt matter either but im weird)

My portfolio is way over-weighted with I B M, (almost 9-10% of my portfolio) does that help??

cpng crew checking in

ive got a very small position. sold off hard on friday though once it hit 50

i think a lot of the insiders who got the shares dirt cheap are selling off at that level.

if it can remain in the 40s for the short term i think it'll find footing though and rise from there

Example: I had a french drain installed on the north side of my house a couple years back. I figured out the pricing for both PVC pipe (more expensive) and corrugated pipe (cheap) with a trade discount at Lowes. The company who did the first estimate quoted me cheaper corrugated pipe which ended up being 600% more than the more expensive PVC pipe at lowes. With their manufacturer discount, they were probably going to make at least 800% off materials. Told them this was absolutely ridiculous and would buy the PVC pipe myself, they can install it, and I'll pay for the labor. Then they told me they couldn't do the job because they couldn't warranty the work if I bought the pipe. The only way they could do it is if they sold me the pipe.

I told them they can fist themselves and left them a horrible review online. Ended up finding another company who immediately did it my way.
they're working for the same price regardless, whether they charge for materials or charge a larger hourly rate. They don't fist officecels, if they did they'd be the rich ones with the million dollar house
