Fuk

Back in on aesthetics brahs. Got a boat/beach party at the end of the month. 3 weeks to lose some chub

At this point I may just eat at maintenance after shredding down tbh... need to maintain this for summer. Probably won’t gain any noticeable muscle mass on my frame if I bulked for 1-3 months anyway right? May as well look good this summer and go regan grimes style bulking in the winter lmao

das it mane. I'm still on the same cut since december, but slow progress is still progress. Plan is to be leaner than fuk by summer.

Going psmf for those 3 weeks?

Given how recent your comp was no way you have chub to loss brah! Maybe just some water that needs stripping off

Nice Muzz, arms, delts , chest all shaping up really nicely. Midsection getting there from the top down. Looks like abs come through quite late for you? Arms look leaner than stomach

Thanks broski. Never ever saw a full 6 pack before. I'm high 170's now. Gonna lose however much I need for that coveted pack.

I'm definately down, but not sure how much since I've never maxed since my last meet. Repping low 3's for squat and low-mid 2's for bench. Only do romanian instead of conventional deads now. Probably 10-15% weaker. Stronger than I've ever been at this weight though, so here's hoping I have more muscle than before!

Yeah..

I’m sitting at like 159 lbs now. Still got my abs in the morning but that fades throughout the day. I’m kind of conflicted on what to do tbh

Apparently just found out the bday party isn’t gonna have any girls (fuk man) so I’m thinking about just continuing my leanbulk and cut down in like 2 months instead. Or I can cut down these next few weeks and bulk for a while before cutting for vacation that’s in August again... essentially spinning wheels

So clueless on what to do ;_;

Its all up to you bro... but i would always reccomend thinking long term at your age, so long to go mayn. Nothing crazy like a dirty bulk but trying to maintain sub 10% half the year just means half the gains long term

Not specifically but given that losing fat is the biggest opstacle to aesthetics for most lifters its definitely the focus of the thread

Got down to 174 last week, but got hammered this weekend and ate like a pig. spinning my wheels in the upper 170's a bit right now, but enjoying my diet much more. Gonna try to maintain/slow cut until may, and maybe do a two week cycle of PSMF again if I have a lake trip or something similar planned.

How's the low 170s treating you? I'm using that stationary bike to try to speed up the way there.

How tall are you?? There shouldn't be any reason to have to drop weight to get abs! I'm 5'9" and typically weigh around 185-190 lbs in the summer with nice thick abs.

Remember, abs are just like every other muscle, they require building. Don't get emaciated just to attempt show something that you've haven't built.

Well I only hit low 170's at the end of a short PSMF cycle, bone dry. Probably walking around 176-178 and honestly, it feels pretty ****ing good. Lifts are getting weaker though

Paused 290 for a single, pulled 455 sumo, and squatted 385 for a triple. All were pretty close to maxes.... feels bad man. Hopefully if I stop cutting some strength will come back.

Also when it comes to aesthetics as in acquiring The Shredz; use the mirror not the scale.

Man, I haven't done a conventional dead in months. Only RDLs nowadays.

Good thing is the strength always comes back, so just relax and enjoy the cuts. How's the cardio.

Yeah I've pulled almost exclusively sumo for the last like 6 months, so much less stress on my back. I can't pull as much sumo, though

Cardio is actually kind of on point, I made it a goal to run a 30 minute 5K and an 8-minute mile this year. Both poverty I know but I NEVER did cardio.

Hit the 8:00 mile last night after a workout, and have hit 3 miles in 30 minutes so a 30 minute 5K is right around the corner. Feelsgoodmane. Could probably get down to 7:00-7:30 mile if I did it fresh instead of after the gym.

Nice. I've been hitting the bike hard this month and have never sweated this much in my life, and that includes high school track. I like it cuz when you're tired and want to fall over, you can't because you're in a seat and holding onto handles.

Feeling better too. Got my pulse down to 50 (aiming for 40's). My mile time is slow at around 9 minutes on the treadmill, but I never tried to get it down. 7 is Sonic the Hedgehog for my ass.

When you bike, do you turn the intensity up crazy high and/or go crazy fast? I warm up with a stationary, and go low resistance @ 100 RPM. Feels like I could do it for an hour, maybe I just need to crank up the resistance.

Cot damn at that pulse, just checked mine and got 59. I remember my brother was crazy fit in highschool and had a pulse in the 40's. Doctor was mind blown.

I do the upright bike on the random setting at increasing levels. I generally stay at a level until I hit 5 miles in 15 minutes, then I go up. 11 is tomorrow, which is legs, which means I most certainly will not get 5 miles.

I like random because it feels like i'm going up and down hills, and those moments where the resistance eases up are like heaven.
I'm back, bitches!

Oh yea you are way higher on the intensity than I am. I usually bike on a resistance of 5, and complete 1.3-1.4 miles in my 5 minute warmup. I know the resistance levels are arbitrary, but your 11 is certainly harder than my 5. And you goin faster.

Maybe I'll start incorporating the bike more, I've gotten pretty bored of running here and there lately and not done it for like a week at a time.
