Nobody in Europe uses gas a stand in for gasoline/petrol. He was very clearly talking about gas and you're the one that tried to lie and deflect.

A CLOSER LOOK AT THE ECONOMIST — VOLODYMYR ZELENSKY AND HIS GENERALS EXPLAIN WHY THE WAR HANGS IN THE BALANCE

After 10 months of Ukrainian and Western officials and media insisting that the Russians are a beaten force and led by incompetents, Zaluzhny and Syrsky kill that meme. Not only is Russia a powerful force, they can mobilize and train 10 times the number of troops in half the time that NATO can. The two Generals also reveal an uncomfortable truth — only 28% of the Ukrainian army is “trained for combat"

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to visit Washington on Wednesday in what will be his first known trip outside his home country since the war began in February.

U.S. President Joe Biden will host Zelenskyy at the White House, where they will have an “extended” meeting Wednesday afternoon, a senior administration official said Tuesday. There will be a press conference after the meeting. Zelenskyy is expected to address a joint session of Congress and will have various other bilateral meetings.

The senior administration official also told reporters thatBiden will announce a package of nearly $2 billion in security assistance for Ukraine, which will include a Patriot missile system. Russia warned the U.S. against sending the missile defense system to Ukraine.

Zelenskyy tweeted earlier Wednesday that the meeting would be focused on strengthening the “resilience and defense capabilities” of Ukraine.

If we take as a whole the speeches of Putin and Shoigu at the collegium of the Russian Defense Ministry.

1. The war with the West in Ukraine will be long. The course towards achieving the goals of the SMO does not change. For the official list of SMO targets, see Putin's speech on February 24 (plus Kherson and Zaporozhye regions). Unofficial goals can be interpreted quite broadly.

2. There will be no agreements, because the West is not ready to recognize Russia's rights to equal treaties with it. We did not fit into the "civilized world". Fine.

3. The army will receive more resources - material, financial, human. But without fanaticism, so as not to undermine the economy.
The concept of "guns instead of butter" is not our choice. They will try to find a reasonable balance.
Next year, the army will receive many different weapons, much more than in 2021-2022. There will also be more drones.

4. Various mistakes of the pre-war period regarding the supply of troops, the mobilization system, repair capacities, underestimation of the role of drones and the concepts of multi-domain operations are veiledly recognized. Criticism of shortcomings is considered desirable.

5. The army is waiting for a fairly significant reform, which is both a consequence of various shortcomings revealed during the SMO, and an increase in the threat from the United States and NATO. The sovereignty of the country will be based on the growth of the capabilities of our nuclear triad as the only reliable guarantor of military-political sovereignty.

Yes who could predict what subsidizing trillions of dollars to pay your energy bills will do.

As much as I despise hawks, the 8 years ago comment is probably correct. Had Russia attacked the volunteer militias in Donbass and demanded Ukraine reel them in or be invaded in 2014, the war would have ended in a few days with minimal casualties and some sort of settlement. Putin didn't want to do the unthinkable. He bloodlessly annexed Crimea. He had hoped for a diplomatic solution. But as in some sad cases, by choosing a more dovish position rather than acting coldly and rationally, the price to be paid now is much greater.

They are misinformed idiots. Its okay.

Most of the reasons behind the EU economic downturn have nothing to do with the war and are mostly a result of covid shutdowns, but ofc i cant expect people who get their information from ******** and 4chan to uderstand this.

The eurozone will come out of this just fine. The people “predicting” otherwise are just coping morons.

You know if the russian govt hadnt gone full retard with ukraine for a decade, they would probably be in the EU today and have maybe one of the strongest economies in the world… too bad.

Still not at the frontline, killing the invading orcs?

Girkins main problem is Russia is not going “full force” according to him.. He wants FULL mobilization of Russia's entire army. He wants Russia to attack NATO decision-making facilities etc, which will all lead to Nuclear war between the West and Russia... We ALL lose if Putin listened to anything Girkin said.

Ukraine especially loses if Putin listened to Girkin, of all people. So IDK why chalupa keeps posting Girkin nonsense ITT.

TBH, I don't think Russia was ready 8 years ago (to withstand the economic sanctions) plus I do believe Putin thought this invasion could be avoided, and a peace deal would be reached... As much as our western media wants to paint him as a warmonger.

Ukraine especially loses if Putin listened to Girkin, of all people. So IDK why chalupa keeps posting Girkin nonsense ITT.
No, he did not say anything about the bombing of Nato countries and their logistics bases, only about "railway junctions" and "bridges over the Dnieper" in Ukraine, he also spoke against the bombing of energy infrastructure. It's strange that he is still not on the streets and does not feed the fish for his criticism of the government, there is definitely someone higher up and supervising him.

What about reading words on an internet page constitutes verbal?

Besides not answering the content posted, your cute response is as retarded as the voice in your head, isn't it?

This is the one. This is the response that will show my brilliance....verbal.

It's always been about the voice in your head lmao.

Zoran Milanovic: Ukraine is not our ally!

— “The EU treats Croatia like deaf-blind fools, and we don't consider Ukraine our ally,” Milanovic said.

This was a reaction to the proposal of Croatian Prime Minister Andrei Plenkovic to put to a vote the issue of training Ukrainian military in the republic.

Guess not everyone is completely blind in the EU. ayyLMAO

Wrong, you're just being disingenuous now…BTW anyone who wants to can look up all Girkins past speeches/comments, that's the beauty of the internet. What goes on the internet, stays on it forever.
