I'm grateful for...

Great weekends spent watching my boys succeed on the ballfield. Life lessons as well as solid runs in tournaments, so much is learned.

Almonds and bananas for snacks/meals

The sour flavored bangs - caffeine good.

Random snap chats from bb.com people I don't talk to very often.

A promotion in the works. Global director will look great in front of my name.

in usual fashion, I tend to only reflect when things are going poorly

last night at a friend's birthday party we had 3 vehicles broken into and my truck was stolen

grateful that -

- none of us were around the vehicles when it happened - could've easily turned from theft into carjacking, guns, knives, violence, murder, etc.
- having full insurance - it sounds like I will be able to recoup most of the losses
- being financially stable enough where losing one of my vehicles is just a "mild inconvenience"

1. My aunt is now safe in the hospital after falling and being alone for 3 days without food or water. None of us had a key to her house, so I just made copies. She's severely dehydrated and fractured a vertebrae in her neck so she couldn't dial 911 for help as her arms stopped working.

2. My sweet 3 year old rescue kitty Ginger who is walking all over me now

3. My Mom's appetite is improving in the hospital.

Boy it's been a lot with my family! Yet I'm blessed to have other family and friends to support me.

Missed this thread srs

-grateful that I am growing wiser spiritually. I am seeing God's hand in more facets of my life that I was previously unable or unwilling to see and acknowledge.
-grateful that business is going well. My workload just doubled and I have been worried about it affecting the quality of experience for my clients but I am managing for now and if it becomes unsustainable I have a plan to improve that.
-grateful as always for the most valuable thing I could ever hope for- a healthy and loving family.

Got the right hamstring torn three weeks ago.

I'm grateful for that,

1. I become able to climb stairs without pain.
2. Still cannot jog but now can walk/limp 3 mi/hrs with less pain.
3. Swelling is subsiding so looks normal well at least in the morning before using legs.

I believe it's God's warning that I should be more careful cause I'm no longer young.

Take care brothers and sisters, love you all!!

I'm grateful for:

1. My aunt, who survived the fall with 3 days of no food or water, is safe after surgery and moving to the same nursing home as my Mom!
2. My friends who are in town and we had dinner last night. My friendship with the woman has been going strong for 21 years even though she moved away 18 years ago.
3. New sponsor in a 12 step program.

I'm very grateful that my wife was able to get out of her old job and secure new (and better) work.

She worked for a home health agency that had horrible management. After a complete screw job upon returning to work after being on disability for breaking her foot she had it and quit. I was really concerned at first, but I trusted in her. Day later she got two per diem offers making more money and close to home with consistent case loads.

- Finding Overeaters Anonymous. They are really helping me with the late night eating as I get really hungry then, so going to meetings and having a sponsor and homework really helps.

- My Mom is improving so we are getting ready to bring her home from the nursing facility after being hospitalized since May

- My Aunt is improving in the hospital after her surgery.
