Happy Christmas Eve dear loved ones

~Got my appetite back, I've been inside for two days
~Ice is melting on my car and roads are so much better!
~Got invited to a Christmas party for tomorrow and my mood is not as somber

As much as I enjoy the holidays, this is my favorite time of the year. Days are starting to get longer.

Can kinda get back to a normal routine.

Getting closer to my birthday.

Can start cleaning up the house of crazy Christmas decorations.

- My cats seem to be OK after a scare this morning with a lot of blood spots on the floor.
- I ate healthy all day
- I exercised 11 out of the 12 last days. I need a break for my body today!

- Vaccines. Got Covid or the flu again, and although I'm knocked on my ass, I imagine it'd be much worse otherwise

- New Year. Made a lot of mistakes in 2022, but learned a lot from it.

- 0% APR credit cards. Bought a ton of stuff before the new year and will be able to use it for 15-24 months and then basically resell it for for minimal loss, effectively borrowing it for a year for free

Belatedly happy new year, everyone!!

After I got COVID and tore my right hamstring I've been struggling to get my strength back.

And now I've fully recovered my strength, actually my workout performance is now better than that of my pre-COVID.

I'm really grateful for that and I feel getting old isn't so bad.

- renting instead of owning (for now). my lease ends in March and it's time to try a new part of the world out. my sister just moved to Hawaii

- end of year bonuses. feel like I spent a ton of money lately, but it helps knowing that on Jan 15 it'll all be paid off

- stonks being on sale. about to max my 401K and Roth for the year while everything is on discount

Have not written for a while.
Happy New Year 2023!

Three things I am thankful
1) God. Today I asked my dad if he can see God's glory on me. He is non believer. He said he can see it! I am so thankful for God. Words cannot describe.

2) my ex husband. I know it is odd. I am divorced and my ex husband is remarried and have a second child. So I should not feel thankful right? No, I am thankful that he is doing well. He has been very kind to me recently and say yes on every single request regarding my son. I know he has a new family so it is not easy to balance two. And I am grateful for the cooperation because it truly benefits me and my son.

3)financial aid. I received financial aid for my son's school. It is a lot of money. I always want put my son at a Christian school. The school is so kind to me to give me maximum financial aid every year. I am very thankful that my son can go there.

4) business doing well. I started my own teaching business 2 and a half year ago. I started by teach elementary math, then last year middle school math and this year high school math. I love my students so much and the job brings me so much joy!

5) dad and mom are health. Wow! I cannot believe my most loved parents are still alive and healthy! Thanks to God's glory! I love them especially my dad! He is the best man in the world!

6) my dear son! I am thankful for the opportunity to be a mom from day 1! He makes me a better person because I try to be a good role model.

7) my friends! I am extremely introverted. I rarely hang out in the public. But I have received many help from others and they are my friends! A friend in need is a friend indeed! I am thankful God sends these angels to me!

Lost 4 cats during the last 20 years and it hurts like hell every time.
But, even though it sounds corny, times does heal.

She did have a wonderful life with you and you did her the last favor by sparing her further suffering.

Thank God your husband is there for you, he'll hold and comfort you.

I'm grateful for...

- finally getting on some gout meds. Haven't been able to control it with diet lately, so had to do it.

- finally getting a primary care doctor. It's been 25 Yeats since I had one.

- kids baseball seasons are about to start up. Excited to see the progress from all of their work this winter.

- the day off work today.

- a lunch date with the wife today. We don't get enough 1 on 1 time, so it was really nice to have.
