from my understanding/experience/other brahs chit - when you spoof to somewhere like Manila - because most guys there have a low ELO - you have a high RELATIVE ELO -

EG lets say ELO is out of 10 for the point of this explanation.

- if youre a 5/10
- New York average is 7/10 - and so your relative ELO is below average - ie not loads of matches
- Manila average is 4/10 - and so your relative ELO is above average - ie bare matches

the point is - your ELO may not change - its just the location that you are in has a different scale....


i did really well when i spoofed to Iceland ( italian genetics/dark hair is rare out there ) - however, when i tinder at work (central London) results are disappointing....

I think trying to trick tinders ELO system into giving you a higher score is pointless unless you can get preferred placement in the decks of girls that would normally swipe right on you. Otherwise if tricking the system so you get hotter matches in your deck, and/or that you get put in the decks of hotter matches will inevitably be fruitless since they will swipe left on you even if you swipe right on them. So whats the point?

Tinder obviously knows guys and girls swipe differently so I think the scoring system is built to show YOUR profile to the girls that would most likely swipe right on YOU...since guys right swipe 80% of the time and girls right swipe 20% of the time lets say.

That said ineed$ and pancake both have interesting assumptions in how it does or doesnt work. I lean on the side of pancakes argument in that who swipes left or right on you has more weight on your score than who you swipe left or right on (since tinder knows guys swipe right more often than girls do.) For example if some of the cards pancake was shown in his miami expirement right swiped him, while he left swiped them, then I would assume that tinder would increase his ELO showing him hotter matches, and showing hotter matches to him. Which i think ineed$ said would give him a +1 point, which makes sense. But since they (likely) swiped left on him, that tells tinder to either lower pancakes ELO and would then show pancakes profile to less desirable matches with a lower ELO, and show him their profile, or keep it neutral. At the end of the day tinder doesnt want to show you all the hottest profiles, or show you to all the hottest profiles, they want to show you to profiles with the highest likelihood that youll match.

So my assumtion taking both pancake and ineed$'s points on how it works is:

Match = neutral (or +.01)
You swipe right, she swipes left = -.01
You swipe left, she swipes right = +1
You swipe left, she swipes left = neutral (or -.01)

For girls might be:

Match = neutral
She swipes right, you swipe left = -1
She swipes left, you swipe right = +.01
She swipes left, you swipe left = neutral

This is why I believe you can increase your ELO not by spoofing to any random place and swiping left, but by spoofing to places where more girls will right swipe you, and you swipe left. But as mentioned in the first paragraph it likely wont matter since when you spoof back to your location the algorithm will recalibrate your score since local matches will swipe left more often.

Tl;dr tricking the system to get a higher ELO is a waste of time unless you get higher placement in decks you would normally match, but nobody knows for sure if that is true or how the system works so that if it was true it can be tricked.

Edit: the more i think about it a match probably increases your score since she swiped right but insignificantly since you swiped right and if you both left swipe decreases your score insignificantly.

Purely anecdotal on the ELO deal, but spoofed on an old second account I hadn't used in awhile that I basically just no look right swiped (way lower quality than other one), waded through the lady boys in Manila to get to the Metro 8's matches then switched back to current. The quality and numbers went up. Seems like it transfers but like spade said probably tanks after they re-left you.

Anybody ever spoofed Moscow? Actually may be going in the next few months so decided to see how I'd do with Russian chicks.. got match after match of seemingly legit 8-9's (I've got a thing for Eastern Euro girls may be over rating a point). Changed bio to just from Moscow to see if it affected it, nope. Copy pasted bottle of red variants and got responses from the majority of them (legit 9/10 of them speak or at least write English fluently). Not exactly Russian looking but half Italian/Scottish mix, so not too far fetched. Thinking about starting the Russian citizenship process soon, Vladimir as my President may be worth.

One way to know for sure:

Make fake womens profile on spare phone with hot pics. Leave it a few days.

Make two profiles for yourself on two other phones, identical in every way.
Swipe as you would normally on one
Spoof the other one elsewhere for a few days
See where they show up on your female profiles stack. Set distance to 10 miles or so to make it fair for other guys to show on the stack.
When a conclusion is reached, get a life lol.

Or get a weird female friend of yours to help out

White and 6'4" and most of my matches dont respond, go NC, flake or ghost. I mainly use aggresive game which increases likelihood for all these things but im converting roughly 1% of matches to smashes. If I used less aggressive game and had my own place maybe would convert more, but just to give you a gauge what you are experiencing is normal.

How many matches you get has to do with so many factors like; how many right swipes, quality of right swipes (if you are a 6 but only swipe right on 7+/10's etc...), market conditions, aesthetics, age, profile optimization, ethnicity. After you get the match your height, game and aesthetics are factors that can make or break closing on matches.

Depending on your market, you are probably more likely to match brown girls <5.5" since girls calculate the height of their heels, so if you are swiping left on these girls you are missing out on matches ld guess.

General advice:
1. Get ripped and show physique pics
2. Show social pics where you are center of attention
3. Show pics where you have good looking women next to you
4. Show pics in exotic locations
5. Show pics with a luxury vibe (you in the drivers seat of a Porsche, in first class on a plane, on a yacht, etc...)
6. Show a GQ pic in a dapper suit (best to appear like its a somewhat regular look and youre not just renting it for your sisters wedding)
7. Show pics doing something active (candid pic taking a jump shot in the paint, etc...)
8. Looksmax like a metrosexual (you can do this and still keep a rugged/rough edge)

Most of this advice isnt gonna come overnight. You will need to change your life to get in these situations if you dont have these pics already. But this is how guys with disadvantages/average looking guys can compete with Chads on tinder. If I followed this advice Id be getting far more matches and smashing higher quality regularly.

Theres nothing else that needs to be said. Either you are going to do it, which can take years, or you can smash fat black chicks from tinder, or you can delete tinder and try your luck with irl game. If you decide to do it, then as long as you dont give up and keep progressing, improving yourself and your profile, and swiping till your fingers are sore you will eventually succeed.

In my case, I have a really polarizing look. 95% of girls swipe left on me, but some are really into me.

I know I can match with hotties, and frequently do by using superlikes. Superlike is the only way to almost guarantee that a girl will see your profile eventually. So if I can get higher ELO I know I can be shown to higher quality girls, some of which will swipe left on me.

But overall I agree that this stuff is simply not worth stressing over. You just can't game the algorithm. Either girls will swipe right on you, or they won't.

Rule of thumb is not to include too many pics or details that will make a sloth swipe left.
Don't give them ANY reason to swipe left. (eeww bad haircut, or I hate smokers 420, ect.)

But I boost a lot.


Don't worry too much about ELO score. Use my solutions to increase your score real quick if all you are seeing is fatties and uglies. That is really what it is good for. You can see hot and ugly girls by switching to "most recent" in settings unless your ELO is fukin low, in which case do a quick 5 min ELO boost.

Im not here to debate ELO or see fixed "test" results from a biased virgin user. Use it or don't use it. Doesn't matter to me.
