There is the standard 5 campaign, then the shorter Hivebusters expansion, which is a separate story and new characters. It's actually probably my favorite Gears.

Here you go. TV setting shouldn't change even though you are using a pc versus console. You have to do a couple different setting tweaks. Lauching something in HDR and SDR. And Dolby Vision. Then it auto switches for the type of content you launch in the future:

I have played the first two, but not Shadow yet. Nice it got a next gen update.

I preferred the linearity, writing, and characters of Uncharted more. And thought the pacing was better to break up shooting vs platforming vs just experiencing pretty areas. The rpg lite mechanics for tomb raider were fun though. And using a bow. And the puzzles.

I hope the rumors are true that Naughty Dog is leaving Uncharted as I think it's tired and rather see a studio as talented as them work on new IP, but I still think Uncharted is better than Tomb Raider overall. TR is better in some areas though such a puzzles.

I enjoyed Rise, and just started Shadow. That 4k 60fps.

Downloading it right now, can't wait. I've played Symphonia, Vesperia, Zestria, and Berseria. I hope this is like Berseria because that's my favorite one. Might try to get a copy of Abyss after I finish Arise because that's supposed to be the best one.

I am using a 34" LG 4K monitor as my gaming screen (for PC/Xbox Series X/PS5). Do you think that this is pretty good or should I consider an actual TV for gaming?

Playing a game called "Encased" which came out 2 days ago, a CRPG inspired by fallout 1 / 2

Been fantastic so far, top tier writing / voice acting and super deep RPG mechanics.

I'm not too sure, but it was new about 2 years ago.

Depends on your budget/playstyle and space tbh



Are you a competitive autismo mp player that wants the best ms for games/ have a lack of space - Get a monitor and good monitors cost a pretty penny from what I've seen.


Do you want the best picture quality possible / have space / want full immersion - Go with a nice 55 upward inch tv ... preferably oled if you can, although I'd say that a lot of tv's do the whole ms thing a lot better and they support vrr for 120 fps (well series x more than ps5) .. Tv's are also somewhat expensive depending on the route you go, but I think they offer far more bang for your buck. Especially if you decide to go with a 48" lg oled as your pc monitor, which is around the same price as a decent monitor that offers the best pic settings/4k/hdr etc.

I thought Hades would be my game of the year.... but this one came out


What an amazing year for games. I'm still yet to play Psychonauts 2 and Forza Horizon 5 too.


IThe Artful Escape is easily the most beautiful game I've ever seen on a console.
Nothing beats the feeling of running along and when you decide to play your guitar the aliens come to life and light up the screen.

Started playing one of the WoW private servers and am surprisingly having fun. Ascension classless wow.

They have an ironman mode which is perma death. You get random abilities every two levels. Killed two players so far, but not alot of them around. Would be super cool with more people playing that mode.

Watched a short video but still have no idea what the game play is about. I just see a dude scrolling, jumping from platforms and using the guitar to jump further? What else is there? Graphics do look insane though.

There's not really much more to the gameplay, you run along the level learning the story and at the end, there's usually an alien or person you end up playing music within a memory-type game.

It's story-driven, the gameplay isn't really exciting or difficult. It's a really good game if you just wanna chill out and not really put any effort into a game.
The music, levels, and characters are all great.

Just some R6 gameplay from last night in ranked mode. Some dev updates are potato and lessened the tactical nature of the game, but it's still one of the most tactical multiplayer fps.

Creating rotation holes and choke points with Castle


It's recorded from match replay which is still in beta so there's some fps and animation bugs. Shame I forgot to record from the start with Shadowplay.

I've been playing Elder Scrolls Online as it's lockdown and I need a time sink.

I held back on this game for many years and wasn't expecting much but it's pretty decent if you are a fan of the series.

It dies suffer from the usual mmo shortcomings such as formulaic gameplay and being a full sweat, rotation based DPS race when doing any kind of group activity which is always tedious. I don't have the time or inclination that NEETs do to learn animation cancelling and all the other exploits to squeeze out max deeps.

But the world is well designed, the lore is really good, you meet a lot of historical elder scrolls characters, and unlike skyrim the scenery doesn't become stale as after 5-10 hours in a zone you move on to something different.

It's pretty cool to be able to take the road behind riften and instead of hitting an invisible wall, be able to walk through the border gate into Eastern morrowind.

I probably won't play for more than a few weeks but I definatley reccomend elder scrolls fans to give it a go, for the story and lore if nothing else.

Got to the third area of Tales of Arise last night. Really enjoying it so far. Was fighting some of the random trash encounters and this big azz dragon came out of nowhere and joined the fight and fuked me up.

So the Artful Escape isn't what I was expecting. I was expecting a 2d platformer with some rhythm elements.

However, it's more of an "experience", than a "gamey" game. Super pretty.

Like Journey. I'm really enjoying it so far. I think it only takes about 4 hours to beat.

Hades on the switch was actually a treasure more than it was trash, IMO. I was playing it on switch, before I had to put the switch down. That will change with Metroid 5. Still Hades, ori , gods and monsters, and hellblade were all good on the switch.

I got Witcher 3 on it and I’ll report back when I sample that on my switch including undocked and mobile!
