Herbert's my QB and I have lots of byes this week so Q's appeal is the double TD. It's really the only week I'd be starting him. Keaton has an awful matchup against the Browns. Quentin is probably the "safer" play although neither are that safe. I just think you are for sure getting 3-5 looks with Q, you have no clue what Keaton is getting. But the ceiling has GOT to be higher with Mitchell.

Ravens have a quick turnaround to a thursday game, which is a huge one vs the bengals. maybe they want to rotate the backs more than usual. hmmmm.......
Quenton has honestly been atrocious this year. He's barely averaging 3 targets/game which is abyssmal and that's WITH Mike Williams being out for basically the entire year. He's basically behind Joshua Palmer who also sucks, so I do not see a path to him becoming relevant at all. He's the 4th passing option or maybe even 5th behind the TE

Keaton on the otherhand I think has shown some great potential, he's like a mini Achane. The matchup isn't great but the Ravens are a top 5 team in the NFL and I think he'll have a meaningful role in their offense

The Browns did allow over 100 combined rushing yards to the Seahawks, over 150 yards to the Colts, over 100 rushing yards to the 9ers and the Ravens in 4 of their last 5 games. So you can run on this team. Also, look at what the Ravens did to them in the last matchup, 28-3 blowout on the road

agreed with this and I wound up putting Mitchell in. Let's have fun with it and see what happens.

I do like Q's chances this week and next with Palmer on IR for a while, last week he flopped but they didn't have to really compete at all vs the Jets. If he does nothing again today I'm out on him.

I had drafted Q alongside Justin Herbert as well but I dropped him by week 4-5 he just doesn’t earn targets

Looks like Keaton paying off so far!

they actually both had TDs. Keaton is crazy, on a per-touch basis he's a machine. Ravens have to consider putting him on the field more.

Can't imagine I use him this thursday, just too deep of a roster right now. first world problems

Is this a b-tch move or just smart/strategic?

You go into the MNF game ahead of your opponent by a fraction of a point. You have one player left to play and he has none. You bench that player and start someone inactive for the game (just to make sure you can't lose via negative points). Rules say you can adjust your lineups right up until kickoff, so there is nothing within the FF App to stop you from doing the move.

Anyone ever experienced this one or something similar?

Nothing wrong with it. Happens a lot with defenses especially since on some platforms they can get -10 points on any given week.

no issues here. gamesmanship. not even that bad.

one time i won a game because the guy waited all weekend to grab a kicker. he was heavily favored and didn't want to drop his bye week kicker or anybody else. i took the lead sunday night and jumped onto waivers grabbing the two kickers left for Monday Night Football. game over.

I hope you added those extra kickers and then immediately dropped them so that they are on the waivers list, but on waivers taunting him instead of FA just to ram it in an extra inch or two. LOL.

No issues with this. You're leaving yourself vulnerable to stat corrections instead of negative scores, so it isn't infallible, and you're also (most likely) lowering your total points, which could be a standings tiebreaker at the end of the year, so it's not completely without consequence.

Nah nothing wrong with this. The only time it's an issue is people not starting a full lineup or starting their bench in order for collusion / to lose to another player on purpose

Got another trade proposal that i'm stuck on:

I give up SF defense
I get Justin Fields

My Team:
QB: Brock Purdy / Matt Stafford (Had J Herbert but traded him for Waddle)
WR1: J Chase
WR2: J Waddle
WR3: B Aiyuk
RB1; J Jacobs
RB2: J Warren
TE: A Kincaid
Flex I Pacheco

Defense: SF

Bench: K Pitts, D Pierce, M Stafford, J Downs, K Herbert (IR)

Purdy is pretty consistent and is coming off one of his best fantasy games. Fields was going off before the injury but SF is one of the best defenses however they have only scored double digits twice. Free agent defenses include Miami, Pitt, Hou, Den, Chargers which isnt a lot to choose from.

for the record I am very sure you asked the group about this and I was not in favor of moving Justin Herbert for Waddle

in your shoes I'd probably do this one and figure out defense week to week going forward. Fields was awful to start the year and then blew up right before he got hurt. He can win you a game by himself which Purdy and Stafford won't do. Fields' schedule down the stretch is pretty favorable although keep in mind he is still due his bye week.

I'd take that. I'd also pickup Miami since they have like 5 straight good matchups.

No its 10 man. We went to a 14 man roster this year. Believe it or not i'm 4-5-1 and in 7th place. I tend to play everyone on their best week.

Pittsburgh's defense is going to wreck PJ Walker this week. LOL.

Edit: *DTR. It keeps getting better and better for the Pitt D.

I'd run PITT every week from here on out and not really worry about it. sure they have a couple tough games but they always make their opponents work for it. Tomlin will keep the defense strong throughout. no brainer move really

As long as TJ Watt is healthy. Their fantasy splits with and without him over the last 5 years are yuge.

I've been trying to bundle a 2 for 1 trade so I wouldn't have to drop anyone, but looks like no dice on that so I need TE and Drop advice this week.

I have Kyle Pitts who is on his bye and no other TE, who do I drop between:

Christian Watson
George Pickens
Khalil Herbert
or Pitts

Also who do I pickup at TE?

Friermuth (assuming he becomes active he seems like the no brainer to me)
Cade Otton
Chig Okonkwo
Tanner Hudson
Michael Mayer
Or any other streamer/sleeper you all might have

Khalil Herbert is currently on an IR spot, I could drop him for Friermuth right now and keep him on IR, however once he is made active I'd still have to drop someone; and if he isn't made active I'd still be short a TE. I am projected to win even without a TE so I could just leave the team alone and play Pitts on his bye this week. Advice/suggestions?

Frier is the pickup. See if he plays. If they sit him another week you put him on IR and grab any other jabroni TE i suppose. Pitts will always be overrated to me but he does just enough to play him after he comes back.

I'm probably in the minority but I'm a khalil herbert believer. foreman also hurt his ankle so that situation is worth watching. is Pickens really worth keeping? what's he get you, one decent game a month? Watson stinks too, he's glass. i'd move one of them.

last week i snuck Keaton Mitchell into my lineup and it paid off. Coaching staff says they're going to push him a little more this week.

Do i start him over............... brandon aiyuk? seems a little crazy but aiyuk doesn't get the ball that much either

I ended up dropping Pickens and grabbed Friermuth. The person I'm going against had Burrow last night so I may not have needed to do anything.

Too late now, but it looks like Aiyuk would be the better play.

ha yes although i don't necessarily have to sit aiyuk. i threw keaton into the RB spot and have a flex. I have to sit one of;
Metcalf
Aiyuk
Evans
Pollard

not sure who i want to sit yet. on your end you may want to grab Isaiah Likely this waiver run.

That's a tough one. Would sit Pollard if it was in almost any other matchup but I have to imagine he finally scores at least 1 TD against Carolina.

frankly i shouldn't sit any of them. the team is rock solid i just got cute and tried to cash in on keaton mitchell and his 300 yards a carry. stupid of me.
team is 7-3, second in points

QB Tua
WR Evans
WR Aiyuk
RB Jahmyr Gibbs
RB Bijan Rob
TE Dallas G (sigh) or Freiermuth
FLX Pollard or Metcalf

bench.............. keaton mitchell

Anyone have a better lineup than me this week? 12 man half PPR

QB - Herbert
RB - CMC
RB - Breece Hall
WR - Kupp
WR - Adams
Flex - Waddle
Flex - Michael Wilson
TE - Ferguson

I have JT and Olave on bye, and Jefferson still on IR
