The new dropins like Elftmann, AR Gold, Timney and Chip McCormick (CMC) feel a good bit better, even as single stages vs. the Geissele two stages. This guy gets it.

Geissele makes a great trigger....but their hammer lock on the market is done.

They're still good triggers and like I said, probably damn near everyone who posts ITT has Geissele triggers in their AR's.

But yeah, I do like my CMC triggers better than my Geissele triggers. Elftmann triggers are great as well. Have built several customer AR's with them.

Geissele makes a great trigger but I will reiterate what others have said. They're hardly the only game in town. My current favorite is Triggertech. Hiperfire has a huge following. Timney, etc etc...

Pretty much any decent trigger is going to be leaps and bounds ahead of standard mil spec.

Got another academy course tomorrow. Just picked up a P320X5 and I'm pumped to break it in. Tomorrow is just a "skill builder" course so 8 hours of whatever the hell the instructor has planned for pistol drills.

Anyone have any recommendations for a new stock? The factory stock on my AR15 is absolute shyt. I'm an aesthetics guy, but I also obviously look for function as well. I love the MFT minimalist stock look, and the SI Viper. Any personal preferences? Looking for black, not currently looking for any other color.

And yes everyone, Illinois is shyt, I fully understand, hence why I'm planning on getting out. Also, garretts popcorn is nowhere near us as far as I know, on top of being overrated imo.
