I'm really curious how they plan on stopping another gamestop Stonks situation through regulations. They really can't, short of locking out the little guys from investing at all. But if the little guys can't invest, then they can't extract profits from the little guy by manipulating the markets either. How are they going to stop people from recognizing the next leveraged short sale, then pumping it again?

I do see congress bailing out these hedge funds with tax payer money if they end up on the hook to the tune of billions though.

Riot gear sucks cock to wear, so uncomfortable; you would be better off without it and being more mobile.

Edit: We wear it for cell extractions, which aren't much fun. Get geared up and sit there for hours while a psych doctor tries to talk to the inmate and convince them to just come out. We can talk to them for 5 minutes and usually tell if they are going to back down or not, and sitting there in that gear is hot and uncomfortable.

Never bought a lotto ticket, heh, guess I am no fun. I prefer to buy items or services, things I can use or better myself with. Guns and ammo, training, home gym equipment, ect. Money is mostly a means to an end for me, stuff is useful, and money gets me stuff.

A short squeeze/pump will always be a risk. It's literally the main risk of shorting.

Just don't be stupid shorting. Just like you shouldn't be stupid with options, or stupid with over leveraging yourself. If you lose hundred, thousands, millions, billions, that's on you.

I was bored over the summer and started messing with penny stocks. It’s pretty easy to make money but was too time consuming since I have a real job. It’s all pump and dumps. Just have to get in, take your profit and get out.

Also pattern day trader rules are BS, just another law to keep the common man down.

These finance people think they are geniuses but it’s really easy to make money if you already have a bankroll. Wall Street types are leeches on society.

I hope you're joking by recommending Robinhood after what they pulled today. If anyone isn't pulling all of their money out of Robinhood and moving to a different platform there is something wrong. That platform is as good as dead.

You're right it's a rigged game. But Robinhood fkd up millions of people today in order to save the hedgefunds. It's infuriating. Glad I didn't partake. But they intentionally ruined thousands of lives today. And it's worse since they built themselves as being the platform for the "everyday" person.
