Now I know Hugh was big on LGBT rights and this isn't the first trans model they feature, just the first to be the centerfold. What I'm actually annoyed about is that it's okay to push progressive ideas in peoples faces, but the opposition are being shamed for trying to preserve existing ideas. Not like I supported playboy or they SJW fan gays either way.

If the witness slips are strong enough against a bill and the legislators listen, they will often have this action : "Session Sine Die"
Adjournment sine die (from the Latin "without day") means "without assigning a day for a further meeting or hearing". To adjourn an assembly sine die is to adjourn it for an indefinite period. A legislative body adjourns sine die when it adjourns without appointing a day on which to appear or assemble again.

[QUOTE=dtdump7;1523142071]What’s wrong with a ban on assault rifles and limiting guns to 10 bullets? How about mandatory gun training courses and a comprehensive background check and a ban on gun shows?
"assault weapons" are not really assault weapons, as they have no select fire. You're basically banning a firearm because of the way it looks. "Assault weapons" are not used in the majority of "gun crime" either (gun crime being composed of 2/3 suicides).
10 rounds is BS, as the criminals won't follow. Standard capacity is just fine. Why should I have less firepower than criminals. Also, both these points whittle away the 2A, and we are not naive enough to believe it will stop there.

I googled the person, they could have at least tried to troll people better by picking one that actually looks like an attractive woman before you pop over to the 2nd page and get hit with the donger, metaphorically of course.

The newer 1-8 not worth the ~$120 price premium?

Nope, decent optic. reticle is a little busy for what I normally prefer (mil dots or duplex cross hair) but it does what its designed to do and does it well.

Works well as a red dot and I have shot out to 400 and it was fine. The holdover hash marks are not "on" for me but close enough (I am shooting 68 grn coyote loads out of that rifle so a little different than 55-62 factory mil spec which is what the optic is designed for...

thanks. i was up in the air about the SE vs a xps2. I have a vortex magnifier hanging around. ill probably end up putting a fixed red dot with the magnifier on another AR. I have another AR with a expensive (ish) 12x scope also. The SE should slide right in between the red dot and leupold.

I haven't looked through one of those, the objective is pretty small so on high magnification it my be a little hard to see at dusk on the 8 power, but they are great scopes. I would have probably bought the 1-8 if it was available when I bought mine. I actually shot a 3/8" group out of a RRA carbine with that scope at 300 yards. No pics, but no reason to lie about it either. I was shocked... Very clear glass and the red dot functionality is good as well as mid range optic quality..

Yea Vortex is decent for the money IMO. Its obviously not on the same level as high quality stuff, but they stand behind it. On that note I just had my first ever Vortex scope failure. It was a 3-9X40 crossfire II illuminated reticle dot scope that I put on one of my Matrix 380 crossbows. Cross bow has a LOT of forward recoil and tend to eat scopes. ended up putting a vortex spitfire 1 moa dot (etched reticle so no starburst astigmatism issues) on both of my cross bows with HHA optimizers. Dont even shoot at the same target spots at 100 yards with out of fear of ruining bolts.
