speaking of pistols for fun at the range, i think ive made up my mind that i need a beretta 92FS inox in 9mm. just have to wait a few months in an effort of not being completely irresponsible with money. still going to continue stocking up on as much .22 lr as i can get, will not stop until i have 100k rounds of it. once i have that il start doing the same with 9mm, 5.56 (xm193) and 7.62x39, except slower.

inb4 the 92f sucks because the glock 19 is superior...

in my mind this pistol is art, and ive wanted one for a long time.



its likely il get a complete .308 AR lower sometime within the next year too.

Other guns have mim strikers (don't all Shields?) but don't have this problem. Not a good look.

The Glock is literally superior, but in a more apt comparison, the SP-01 is to the 92 what Biggie is to Lil Xan.

Never sold/traded a gun in crew. That’s why I don’t know. Just googled Armslist and it looks decent. Both P365s in Bama are listed for over 600 lulz.

You don't need to involve an FFL other than sending it to one. You will want to pay second day shipping with FedEx to the buyer's FFL, where they will be responsible for whatever transfer fee the FFL and the buyer agreed to. You could also use UPS but I find FedEx better (last I checked, you couldn't use a UPS store, even). You cannot as a non license holder use USPS for a firearm. Or maybe it's you can't for a handgun. Whatever, for a P365 you can't use USPS that's for sure.

Legally you can send a gun to somebody in your own state, if you don't have reason to believe they are a prohibited person, without an FFL, but nobody I know or e-know is willing to ship a gun to a private party, regardless. I sure wouldn't. Out of state of course requires it go to an FFL.

92f may be a less tactically capable weapon than glock, but the things are reliable.

in any case i already have 4 glocks, and i will buy more gen 4. i want that 92f though

ive never sold a firearm either, but im tempted to sell my junker remington 597 just because i hate the thing.

all other firearm purchases have been solid though. i guess the advantage arms .22 conversion kit for my g30 was a dud too, but supposedly they run better with .22 short magnum rounds.

I am. The Lee Single Stage. I actually got the beginners kit or whatever it's called, but I've replaced everything else except the press. I load up in very small volume and try to wring out all the accuracy I can. If you're wanting to feed the Scar you might look at progressive presses or at least a turret press. Also just be honest with yourself on how much your time is worth and what you're actually going to save. If you think this might just be a short term spike in .308 usage, it might make more sense to just buy a couple of cases of .308 and call it good. I think when it's all done you don't actually save a lot of money reloading. The biggest advantage to reloading is finding a round that your gun likes and being able to produce it yourself.

A turret was more what I was leaning towards, found a good deal on a RCBS Rock Chucker single stage kit used though so I'm still debating on that. I'd probably just go the route of ordering a few cases of .308 but I'm ordering a Tikka either this week or next so I'd probably end up getting a press for that anyways.


Also Natches fuked up this morning and priced cases of XM193 priced for 0.18 cpr. Wonder if they'll honor anyone that got in before the sold out of it.
