Holy smokies, that worked. Probably the easiest method of biscuits I've ever tried, and I used some good old West Texas region honey from Central Market. Molly Baz is a goddess, y'all.

I ate a lot of fish friends this weekend

And last night did a chicken thigh and corn thing

^^^ Recipe if you want to try it. I only used a 1/2 tablespoon of oil, I have no idea why he used so much, it's completely unnecessary.

I can't stop eating this spicy tuna ceviche.

Pan roasted chicken with vaguely Middle Eastern seasoning, roasted vegetables, pickled onions.

And I was running late one day last week and decided to pick up this Lovecraftian Nightmare from Little Caesars. It was stupid.

I had to look up wojapi sauce. Basically a sauce made from chokecherries?

Need to make a run up to the hills and see if the chokecherries and elderberries are on. We run them through a juicer to make jelly.

Smoked a brisket the other week. I've been watching people on the tubes inject their briskets with expensive wagyu beef fat. I just made tallow from the trimmings and injected the brisket with its own fat. It was a game changer. Also recently figured out that my electric smoker is putting out 20° less heat than it claims.

Have been too intimidated to post in this thread since I'm a terrible cook but still learning!

Made broken rice today (a vietnamese dish with over easy eggs, a porkchop, and some veggies served with fish sauce).

Chicken alfredo for my nieces/nephews on Sunday and have leftovers for dayss so it's now for lunch. First time I tried to make my own sauce using heavy cream instead of the bottled stuff and it made a world of difference! Some kiddos came back for seconds
