Tried Polo Red Extreme and man this one is a beast. It does remind me a lot of Armani Code Profumo. Got that root beer vibe with the some sweetness(gourmand). The blood orange and coffee works overtime for you with this juice.

What's up on that Bentley Azure? Can you elaborate a little? I was checking it out the other week and it intrigues me a bit.
Got my Les Exceptions Hot Cologne in the other day. Came with 5 other Les Exceptions samples that I picked out. Over the Musk would probably be the next must-have for me. Although exceptionally well done, I think the others are too special tastes (and not in my interests) for me to pursue. Splitting this bottle of Hot Cologne as a non-profit, so if any CONUS bros want one, I have 5ml for $15.50 and 10ml for $27.65. Also have 5ml Aventus for $13 if anyone is interested. Got it from Finescents, 16K11.
On my second wave of Dua fragrances, and so far I'm really liking Cuir de Africano. I think they did a really good job with this one, it's very festive to African culture. Liquid Mind Control, the Nas****tto Baraonda clone is another very interesting one. I need to give it a rest for awhile though, because my sense of smell is deader than I could ever express.

Picked up a 200ml of Eau De Cartier earlier
It's like a dirty green barber shop scent with the slightest tinge of pepper and lavender
A bit soapy
Pretty good projection and longevity
I sprayed it over 3 hours ago and I can still smell it ( raw skin..no lotion)
A few people asked me @ work what I was wearing (no compliments though) so I know it projects ok
If your looking for a scent to just throw on like " f*ck it" and something to use so your not running through your more desired fragrances then this is perfect
Projection: 7/10 people could smell a a foot or two feet away
Sillage: pretty good
Longevity: Between 6- 7 hours
Number Of sprays: 5 ( it is on the lighter side but you can overspray with this)
Overall: 7/10
No very different but again a great dumb reach type for spring/ summer

I have yet to get my hands on Bentley Intense. It's one of the fragrances on my immediate next list though.
For August, I had Treasure Island and Barista Elixir from Legendary Fragrances in mind. However, I think I'm just going to get Treasure Island, and then spring for some essential oils to blend these fragrances that I've had sitting around. In summary, I've acquired a number of fragrances that seem in need of some tuning up, and instead of just selling them off, I decided why not take a shot at blending them instead?
So far here's what I have and have in mind.
Arancia di Capri:This one comes off a little Tobasco-ish to me, so I thought I might be able to brighten it up with two key accords. The first aims to sweeten up the orange presence via Bitter Orange, Clementine, and possibly one other citrus note. I'm undecided on which for sure, but I have Blood Orange in mind as the placeholder right now. The accord involves freshening up the base with a little Violet Leaf, Clary Sage, and possibly one other accent note. Also undecided on which or what, but I've pondered this final accent to be either a floral (Violet)...or maybe a spice (such as Coriander) instead.
Eau de Minimes Cologne:Some bros might recall me talking about this one back when I got it. Minimes Cologne is a very simple fragrance, that comes off to me as though it was intended to be a base for blending. The alchemy set on the front of the bottle seems to be pretty strong foreshadowing of this. The fragrance as it stands is pretty much a swanky lemon, with the tinge of the lemon seeds (like you would get from fresh lemonade) off the top of it.
Have a few main blends in mind for this one.
The first involves an incense blend with the intention to recreate my own Byredo Encens Chembur. This was a fragrance that I really enjoyed, but it has some weird chemical properties to it, so that the opening of the sample I had presented me with this lovely (although a bit too faint) frankincense note. And then at the end of the sample, it turned into The Exorcist with this God-awful, overbearing demonic frankincense note. I really loved the first sampling, and with the fragrance being so expensive I thought why not just try blending Minimes Cologne to that style?
The blend I have in mind for this involves adding an additional citrus accord (Bergamot, Ruby Red Grapefruit, and most likely Pink Pepper)to heavy the top of the fragrance. Then, blending the incense accord (Benzoin, Elemi, and Omani Frankincense) and to add it after it's done maturing as the finishing touch.
Byredo actually uses ginger in Encens Chembur, which I'm not certain yet if I will need to include or not, but my first intuition is to try working around ginger with Pink Pepper as the substitute. I don't want to add them both, because I fear it would make the fragrance too spicy. However, to get the freshness factor I'm looking for, I am prepared to substitute Pink Pepper for Ginger if I have to. I will probably experiment with Red Ringer first, in hopes to create something more unique in the end.
The second variant of the Minimes Cologne that I have in mind takes inspiration from Etat Libre D'Orange—with a fragrance codenamed Drunk on Sunday. The idea here was to paint the picture of a poor soul, who wants to spend his Sunday at his leisure, without missing the Sabbath. I had originally thought to just add a liquor note and a leather note to the above formula to complete this. Something such as Rum Ether, Whisky Lactone, or even possibly this really fancy note, Rum Succant Absolute, that I recently discovered.
I honestly don't think that I'm going to be able to do it this way, because I suspect the fragrance is going to get too complex and adulterated. Considering this, I'm already brainstorming an alternative version, that replaces the frankincense accord for a base consisting of Leather, White Musk, and Musk Mallow, with the liquor accord atop it at the heart of the fragrance. Unfortunately, I feel without the incense note, it really losses all its character, so I'm kinda torn on the thought of what to do here if it doesn't work out.
Noble Irish Kreme:This is a DUA fragrance that I picked during the 25% off sale. I was really hoping for a powerful espresso note in this one, but it turned out to be something more along the lines of a base fragrance to be blended in suite of a custom style. This was probably intended as a gift to Oliver Creed, for him to take and tinker with in his extravagant lab. That's the first impression I get.
The fragrance itself presents a very strong Irish cream and not much more. I thought about just getting Barista Elixir and blending the two, and selling it that way, but I'm going to tinker with a custom blend first and see where it takes me.
The notes I have in mind include Coffee Absolute and Leather. From there, I'm not exactly sure what kind of base to put down, I don't want to do anything too cliché, but some notes I have in mind to tinker with include, Musk Mallow, Sweet Birch, Tonka Bean, Bourbon Vanilla Absolute, Guaiac Wood, Whisky Lactone, and Ambroxan.
The M***bster in Sin City:Here's another DUA fragrance that I picked up that to me appears in need of blending. By itself, I think the odds are really against it, but the impression I get from this fragrance is that Mahsam was sending a message to the target demographic. "If you can't fix this fragrance, then you shouldn't be a mobster, because you actually need to be smarter than this even."
I don't even think it needs much to be fixed up, it's just a little sour, and the White Amber seems entirely untamed to me. I originally wanted to add some Sugar Cane and call it a day (at Virgin Island City), then I got the idea to add Blue Agave to it for some fancy Native America flare. However, I couldn't find the Sugar Cane oil anywhere, only in pre-blended mixes. Then after a long and desperate search I finally found the Sugar Cane oil, yet now there's still no sign of pure Blue Agave oil anywhere.
I might be able to substitute this for Blue Cypress, and if things get desperate enough, that's probably what I'll end up doing. So the final accord will be something like Leather, Blue Cypress, and Sugar Cane. Also might do a Red version with something like extra Coconut, Saffron, Red Ginger, Pink Pepper, Brown Sugar, and Rosewood.
Melánge Mousseux:Whew—I don't even know where to start with this one. I blind bought this during the 25% off sale expecting it to smell something like Remarkable People (or at least somewhere in the ballpark). Unfortunately, it came out smelling more like Al-Rehab Golden, whose name and fragrance theme is intended to symbolize the Golden Girls.
It's a vintage Arabian feminine aromatic. Very potent, and robust, and heady. Thankfully, Mahsam actually swapped me out this bottle for a bottle of Evening-M (the Roja Dove Creation-E clone). He had said to give it the bottle some girl I know, but I know that I can't give this fragrance as it stands to anyone.
I ultimately decided to take on the ultimate challenge of blending this monster of a fragrance for the raw bragging rights to be earned. I mean, this is such an overbearing fragrance, the typical mind would just buckle over at the thought of where to start fixing this one.
However, a stroke of genius came to me while I was pondering over it. Analyzing the heaviness of the fragrance, I theorized that I could possibly lift the heaviness with some combination of everfresh notes. The first thing that came to mind was Blue Cypress, then Violet Leaf, and then possibly Leather to smooth everything out.
Leather notes are kind of obscure, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to provide the odor profile I'm looking for here with what I've found available in the avenue of Leather notes. That's also just the starting line, which I plan to take from there once I can deduct how well a Cypress and Violet Leaf accord does to lift the heaviness of the fragrance or not.
Fuji Green Tea:Here's a neat fragrance I picked up out of intrigue for a true-blue tea fragrance. I had smelled the body wash at TJ Max, so I already knew The Body Shop delivers the goods here. The fragrance though is a little linear, and it's also only an Eau de Cologne, but these attributes make it perfect for being blended into a more powerful (and complex) Eau de Parfum.
Tea (especially Green Tea) seems to be a really challenging base to work with. It has such a distinct odor profile, that the challenge of accenting it— without entirely overpowering it—presents itself entirely from the start. After thinking about it for awhile, I came up with two main concepts for Fuji Green Tea (one masculine blend and one feminine).
The masculine one, codenamed Seiryu (after the legendary green dragon that rules the East and the Spring in Chinese Dao) features Birch Tar, Guaiac Wood, and Ambroxan with the intention of creating a smoky masculine green tea fragrance. Then, if it's still a little too simple, I'll probably end up adding some other notes as well, but I don't have anything else in mind for this one just yet.
The feminine one, codenamed Doragonzakura (Dragon Cherry...or shimmering clitoris of ah' the Japonais) will be accented with cherry blossom, ambroxan, and white tea—atop a base of cotton musk, musk mallow, and Sweet Birch.
Oh yeah, I also have in mind to blend Bergamotto di Calabria, but I don't have anything too fancy in mind for this one. Just going to top off the citrus presence with a little extra Bergamot and Citron, then add Blue Cypress to lift the citrus and freshen it up to the max.
For August, I had Treasure Island and Barista Elixir from Legendary Fragrances in mind. However, I think I'm just going to get Treasure Island, and then spring for some essential oils to blend these fragrances that I've had sitting around.

SOTD: Bond HTTP. Got this years ago when it was being hyped as the Aventus killer. I still dont think they are close to each other at all. Decent frag, but not FBW for me. One of the few Bonds i can actually wear.
