Mind blown at 150,000 people at a football game. That was nuts to watch. Of course . . . football I could at least see why someone would want to watch that. Watching cars go in a circle for a few hours--not so much.

Free concerts all weekend long (decently big names even), we rented an RV and hosted a huge tailgate (I cooked over 40lbs of meat in my smoker, plus whatever else on the grill), college gameday was there (got to wave the WSU flags), dressed up as a VT themed hair metal band with some of my buddies and just messed with people all weekend/took 100s of pictures with sloots/got interviewed by small time media people, everybody was just having a really good time. The game itself was secondary if not tertiary to everything else going on.

The race got rained out when I was there. Saw a total of about 15 laps. Lost my money because I had to go back home and they ran it the next day.

wait, gameday brings the wazzou flags? I always see them there, just figured it was some sort of alumni function that got them to the gameday locations.

For perspective, this is Neyland stadium superimposed inside of Bristol. Neyland seats 102,000 haha

So basically, the single best seat in that stadium was still worse than the top nosebleeds in one of the 5 largest stadiums in college football.

I worded that kind of funny. I talked to the guys a bit and they were pretty cool. The alumni there have a database of who all is willing to do it and then they just find the ones closest to each game and ship them the flags. The guy I talked the most to was from Charlotte, but there were of ton of them there.

What's the going rate these days for full uppers? Instead of DIYing my gas system I might just sell my Colt upper and use that money to buy a BCM 14.5" midlength with a KMR-A. I'm seeing shiit on gunbroker for $369 all the way up to $800 for an assembled Colt upper. My barrel only has about 500 rounds through it.

Just make a complete new rifle or sell your complete rifle.

I don't think people will want your painted colt upper.

You'll get more selling a complete Colt rifle than you would selling an individual Colt upper. I agree with Cox, just build that second rifle or sell the complete Colt.

Completely different experience live. Specially at crashcar where you can bring your own beverages. And if you rent/borrow a seat of ears to listen to the radio, holy chit it's interesting. But then you realize the guys commentating on TV aren't actually that smart, they just listen to the radios when you don't.

The places to shoot end up being ugly AF, darn near dumps. Brass, shells, target debris. But I'll admit that I love having a space 20 minutes from the house we can go out about 175 yards, and has room for probably 12 groups (somewhat safely).

I was at a pantera bread in hampton this morning.
Do they give a deal to snackbars? Seriously, we were sitting there and these enormous groups of middle eastern families with womynz in hijabs and talkin all durka durka filled about 75% of the place, no exaggeration.
The Venezuelan with us was getting agitated by them.

Or to a be a good steward and leave the place a little better than it was when you got there each time you go. I go to and outdoor spot sometimes that is left trashed by people and I make it a point to clean up what I did + more. I can't do it all, but even if a handful of people see that example periodically, I assume it probably encourages them to do the same. IDK.
