People give me the Bert Stare when I say "What game?" when they ask if I'm watching it. No matter whatever sportball game they are talking about, I legit don't care.

I'll watch Iowa play football if I'm in a bar and it's on, but I won't go out of my way to watch it anymore. It's just not important to me in my daily life to get all hot and bothered about a game.

If I recall correctly, the parts are identical, but the original tenifer coating had trace amounts of cyanide which is illegal in the U.S. but not Austria, so USA versions get a slightly different version of the tenifer coating. Could be BS though. And probably worked out by now if it ever was a thing. All mine are Austrian and I lived within 15 miles of the Smyrna, Georgia plant for 28 years.

S&W uses "Melonite" on the M&P series, as does Springfield Armory w/ it's XD series of pistols. So there you go. While I do prefer the "Frying pan" look on a Glock, be assured that the metal treatment under the "Parkerized" style treatment is still as good as it's ever been."

Kept up with the Saints this year since they're actually winning. Before that, I haven't watched football in years and years.

It's rare for the Saints to be doing worth a ****, so it's fun to keep up with since everyone is really into it this year. But lmao at getting all emotionally invested like some people do in it. If they lose I really couldn't care less. Apparently football is some extremely serious chit to some people.

I legit don't know who won the championship the past season in any sport except football, and I forget that within two years these days lol

I'd have to search to see who the reigning champs are in NHL and MLB and NBA.

I like it this way. It frees up lots of time not watching the TV for anything

People spend untold hours watching whatever sport/sports they are into.....spend god knows how much money going to games, even to the point they do that fantasy sport BS.

I always go by my usual neighborhood bar on the way home after the shooting range on Sunday afternoons. Place was packed yesterday and they were playing that Eagles game on every TV. The most obnoxious group of grown adults I've ever seen. Grown men literally screaming, stomping their feet and pounding their fists like a bunch of waterheaded orangutans. Funniest part was how it would alternate from one fan base to the other.

The difference is he's the one playing the game and would be entitled to being upset at this moment. The players are allowed to be emotional about their own, personal (and team) achievements. But I really don't understand how a man can be emotionally invested in the performance of another man (or team) he will never know in a game.

Odds are these same people don't understand why people watch pro video gamers or why they're paid as much as they are.

So this is a new thing. These scumbags are using owl sounds to signal each other when prowling around at night trying car doors. Another thing to be aware of. Can't wait to get out of this neighborhood.




My house is on the edge of a nature sanctuary, and I actually do have a huge owl living behind my house, eating everything in sight smaller than a dog. But he never makes any noise.

People looking for unlocked cars with valuables in them is a pretty common thing in any suburban or urban location. It's not that bad if they are only going into unlocked cars, but not breaking in and not trying to get into houses.

People are ****ing stupid and insist on leaving their cars unlocked with valuables inside.It's a thing here too. I stopped arguing with people who say it's their right to leave their car open on their property because they should be able to and blame the police for it being "broken into" because they don't patrol enough.

This is a brand new neighborhood 10 minutes from downtown Charlotte. My house is less than 3 years old. We took a gamble on the area but it has been steadily declining and crime has been ramping up fast so we are getting ready to sell.

So far, they have only gone for unlocked cars as far as I know but it's a matter of time until they "graduate". There are days when I hear a dozen or more cars on our street got hit. And yes, these people are idiots who leave their cars unlocked with valuables in plain view. And these people still don't have cameras.

Fukkers are starting to roam through backyards too. And there have been several daytime house breakins and a few nighttime home invasions. I've got a little setup next to my bed and I'm ready for the first time those cameras go off.

Yeah, I've never understood the "why should I have to lock my cars, or valuables up...." crowd.

I know most people don't agree with me, but I'm sort of of the "fuk em" mindset and think people that do stuff like that deserve whatever happens to them from the homeowners. If you are minding your own business and you see someone in your backyard, then they go into your garage (attached or not), you should be able to deal with the problem as you see fit. To me, the castle doctrine should apply to all of your property, not just your house. (Although this may vary by state)
