Anyone else go into real angry moods? I sometimes can just go into moods where I’m just so pissed off about pretty much anything. I also just feel so far gone. The only time of day I feel somewhat normal is later at night but that’s not enough to be happy. I’m miserable probably 80% of the day everyday. I just feel like I have no life anymore & that I’m just like an insect living among everyone since no one gives a **** about me. Having no one to hang out with is so mentally draining man. It makes life so damn boring with going day to day alone just sitting at home.

Lifting weights is honestly the best method in alleviating symptoms of anxiety and depression
Medication, therapy etc never worked for me.
Started to consistently lift heavy about a month ago, and it helped so much
You have to really push yourself but. When I trained light in the past, it did not really help with my mental health. Its when I started to go daily and push myself I started noticing my symptoms easing
Worth a try

Lifting never did much for me unfortunately, but I took up tennis which I enjoy immensely, and it made me realise that when I was lifting I was doing it primarily for the results.

I just can’t believe what happened with everything in my life. Outside of my parents & a few people through text I literally don’t talk to anyone else anymore. It’s so depressing when my own relatives don’t even talk to me or I barely see them anymore. Not sure wtf happened with everyone. I don’t get how everyone used to be so lively & I saw everyone a lot more but nowadays I barely see them & it’s like they don’t want to be bothered anymore. It makes me so envious of people with large families that see each other & get along well.

Cut out the fapping first, it's probably the worst thing on the list. Just stop.
Weed: don't know much about it, never done it.
Coffee: easy trick is to substitute with tea instead. Tea will still give you a buzz, just not as bad as coffee. Then after a while, you can quit the tea if you want.

If you have a couple minutes of free time in your day, or you're in the car driving somewhere, give somebody a call. That's advice my little brother gave to me pretty recently, and I realized that it was some of the best advice I'd ever gotten. Just reach out to people, they'll appreciate it.
^that whole conversation with my brother was linked to him mentioning something that my uncle was doing and I was like... "Wait, damn, I don't talk to anybody in the family much anymore." But I've always been like that, because I'm always doing something or other hobby/activity/training/urbexing that prevented me from being in regular contact with people before all this. Like, I'd stop by family gatherings, but usually I was in the midst of XYZ get-up-and-go routine between work and everything else I wanted to accomplish. Realizing that made me think, "Well, fuk, my brother is right. He's just as busy, but he just calls people when he has a second." He'll literally just sit down and go "Well, I haven't heard from so-and-so for a bit" and just call them. Or think about people he hasn't spoken to in a while, and set aside time to check in.
I was legit mirin' it.
You'd be surprised at how that works so well. It's not that they don't want to be bothered, it's that you think they don't want to be.

I tapered my drinking and staying with my gf. alcohol is a horrible drug. I started smoking herb to help with cravings.

Glad to see a support system here. I battled depression for along time just thinking I was "tired" all the time. What made me realize it was being put on a mild anti-depressant for quitting tobacco and I realized that all of sudden I felt better.

I’m really at a point now where it’s like I don’t want to die but I don’t want to live either. This life is so depressing unless a miracle of some sort happens for me. I’m just on a path to a depressing existence for the rest of my life.

There's just nothing to do. Like i was talking all day at work today but there is no chance of me hanging out with any of my coworkers. I don't even know what to do or talk about besides dumb stuff. I really have to try to be social but i get bored so quick. Things have just changed so much. Everyone is kind of in their own little bubble and there isn't anything cool going on anymore. Humanity peaked like 10-15 years ago and every day just gets more boring. At this point i feel like i have done everything a million times. I mean back in the day i talked about everything with people WWE video games conspiracy theories politics music and everyone was so thrilled about things. Idk what happened man.

Telling you man you have to have love later in life. You have to have that constant feeling. It isn't normal to not have love after 25 or 30.

Does anyone else gets nervous over the dumbest ****? I’m going to get my haircut within an hour & I feel nervous for no damn reason. I guess it’s social anxiety nerves.

I just don’t understand how people stay sane doing the same grind over and over. I can barely even do my job anymore because its so depressing. I have no way to cope being in my thoughts all day but there is nobody I connect with. Especially at work which just drains me doing this every day

does anyone when feeling depressed stay in bed all day pretty much? like i recently lost a job I liked, family issues roommate issues, no friends. i'm usually pretty active gym and running. I stayed in my room all day yesterday, got on the desktop for a bit. Should I be really concerned or is it ok to do this for a few days. like im planning on not really leaving my room for a few days. thats a relatively short time i guess.

Just had an energy drink before & it felt good to be a bit more energetic during a time of day when I don’t have much. But now I’m starting to crash down. I mean how do I become energetic during the day if my mind won’t let me.
