Phuck man...

I'm not very active on the misc, been always a lurker more than an active poster, so I'm glad this was sticked or would've probably missed it.

Just here to pay my respects for a fellow miscer who genially seemed like an amazing a caring person.

RIP snails/ Lauren. Hope if there is something else out there after this living meat grind, you are enjoying urself and well.

Her husband left her after finding out she had cancer and could not longer have children. I cant help but feel mad at him for not being there for her. Crazy thing is even despite him doing this she was not mad at him.

I first noticed her when she offered to pay for the uber for the misc brah that got into car accident and was skateboarding to the hospital.

Take a break from misc but can never really go away and see this sticky. She seemed like a nice person and one of the names that I recognize as a miscer. How is there no treatment for all this **** people have?

Rest in peace

Can't explain it boyos.

I've known people IRL (friends, teammates, classmates) who've died young but this one has hit the hardest in my 33 years on this planet.

Trying to figure it out.

Seems like everyone I tell about it Bertstares me and asks "So you never actually met her?"

I looked at the Amazon wishlist mostly cat stuff I’m not a cat guy, but I did donate online. As said I didn’t know her well. Or I seen her posts but never interacted with her much. I didn’t know she was a pet person.
She repped me January 16 in a food thread. This section was better off with her positivity and strength. of all the things I never even knew about her one of the biggest was that she had health issues and an SO who treated her badly. Too dang soon man. ..
Anyway I donated more Than I would usually give to my local rescues. And bought my chinchillas a much bigger cage too.

I took a long break from here and only just got my access to the forum back. Once I was able to view the boards again, I started to notice her posts and she always seemed like a decent person, so I’m sad to hear that this happened. She was a nice change from the usual.

Condolences to her family. As long as we remember her, she’s still with us. The Misc is good at remembering posters who passed on.

We repped back and forth a few times. She seemed like a legit nice girl, always talking about her family. Feel so sad. Her obituary never mentioned her husband. She was always talking about him. Looking at the pics is so sad.

Reminds you how unfair life is. Life is precious.

RIP lass.

edit. Her ex deserves to be dragged behind a cart.

None the less. Rest in peace, Snails. But no, I'm not going to pretend like she was some perfect angel like most miscers are. She was cool. But let's keep it real.
No one is an angel. I never seen her be horrible to anyone though. She seemed to be do herself more harm than anything else.

Nobody is perfect man. She seemed like a gentle soul tho, and that’s enough for me. We are all just a result of a combination of things out of our control anyway, and seems like she lived trough some ****, yet still kept a smile as good as she could.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."
