set some sell orders at what I thought would be crazy numbers for xrp only to see that it was filled while I was at work. hopefully dip comes soon so lost potential profit isn't too bad

The Kucoins risk is when one of the decentralised exchanges takes off. The community fking wants it bad, brb being anonymous. Brb trading from own wallet. Thats why kyber deputed at like $300m cap, more than kuckoin. If it it successful kucoin is dead. srs.

Possible to go to Korea and sell BTC on local bitcoins? Srs.

I will be in Asia next year.

Ultimate arbitrage or pipe dream?
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

Yeah. We're obviously missing a key bit of information about why this is happening. A $1.5 rise in a coin with such a huge circulating volume just doesn't make sense.

It is on a tear. I really wanted to buy more after it hit 1.35 today but figured it might stop and then dip like most of these pumps go.

It's volume on just 1 Korean exchange is 2.6billion today, and that's with them paying over 2.8usd. Top Japan and Korea banks agreed to use it, coinbase rumour.

Stellar? Never heard of her.

I haven't looked at it myself because I will never buy XRP but the buys have to be huge to cause such an acceleration. Institutional investors is not impossible but considering how Ripple might increase circ. volume to stabilise the $ value and/or release escrow coins to partners gratis, it doesn't make too much sense to buy high sell low for hardened veterans like banks or big investors.

The only other possibilities that come to mind are huge coordinated FOMO, engineered whale P&D to increase volatility/shake up big 3 or some genuine news that has escaped us. Someone posted that a single entity acquired 45m coins recently. Weird.

At this rate, it's not hard to imagine XRP overtaking BTC and then it's all over.

None of this is financial advice, just updating my thoughts here. Happy holidays to everyone here!
What also seems very familiar is during that time, Alts all over were hitting big gains and a lot of FUD surrounded BTC. Now once again, Alts are making huge gains left and right, people keep posting about the demise of BTC. Just waiting for it to awaken from it's slumber and start shoving sat values down back to the floor.

It's a circumstantial/lucky good move though, the initial $0.20 to $0.60 pump was based on fake Coinbase images and rumors. Then $0.60-0.80 on more Coinbase stuff, Ripple Q&A and SK banks/financial investments and $0.80-2.5 based on god knows what. I have no regrets personally, even though I would have 10+x'd. XRP is just a never buy under any circumstances for me (potentially could destroy crypto) and luck decisions are transient decisions.

It's still pretty painful being stagnant as f*ck for the past 2 weeks almost.
