set some sell orders at what I thought would be crazy numbers for xrp only to see that it was filled while I was at work. hopefully dip comes soon so lost potential profit isn't too bad

The Kucoins risk is when one of the decentralised exchanges takes off. The community fking wants it bad, brb being anonymous. Brb trading from own wallet. Thats why kyber deputed at like $300m cap, more than kuckoin. If it it successful kucoin is dead. srs.

Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

Yeah. We're obviously missing a key bit of information about why this is happening. A $1.5 rise in a coin with such a huge circulating volume just doesn't make sense.

But maybe institutional investors involved? It does seem a little much to just be new money

The only other possibilities that come to mind are huge coordinated FOMO, engineered whale P&D to increase volatility/shake up big 3 or some genuine news that has escaped us. Someone posted that a single entity acquired 45m coins recently. Weird.
At this rate, it's not hard to imagine XRP overtaking BTC and then it's all over.

So are we beginning a new market cycle? Definitely possible if we continue to hold the bottommost support trendline.. While none of this is an exact science I do like keeping it in the back of my mind ashistory tends to repeat itself in market cycles from what I've experienced.
None of this is financial advice, just updating my thoughts here. Happy holidays to everyone here!

got 12000 xrp back then, hehe

It's still pretty painful being stagnant as f*ck for the past 2 weeks almost.
