Just wanna pop in and say that its a true show of character when a person resorts to making jabs about the recent death of a friend. A short temper is one thing, but to stoop to the level of making the mockery of someone's life while simultaneously wishing death upon another person is immature for someone over the age of 50. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Couple things:

1. Reagan was a beloved actor, period. Reagan didn't get where he was ****talking people on reality TV. He was also governor of California. In 1976, when hebarelylost the primary to Ford, he gave one of the greatest primary speeches ever. People might have disagreed with some of his views, but he was extremely well-liked.

2. The Clinton Lizard is extremely corrupt and vile, but she's extremely corrupt and vile because she has a lifetime of experience manipulating the highest offices of our government for her own personal gain. While we view this as disgusting, and rightly so, she is clearly capable of executing the office, it's just that she'd be executing the office for her personal gain (and that of foreign powers/moneyed interests) at the extreme expense of the people.

3. Mondale was a cuck, and everyone knew it, and in the cold war, you didn't want a cuck President. America had had a cold war cuck President from 76 to 80, and we weren't about to go back to that.

I'm probably going to get lambasted for this, but whatever... You don't need to apologize. What damage was done by what you said? Was it a little insensitive? Sure. If 6 months ago you told Pin something similar nobody in here would bat an eye, and based on the number of times I see people arguing or bitching about Pin (no offense Pin lol) a lot of people would have lol'd and repped you.

I'm not trying to diminish the tragic event that you referenced, but damn, people are acting like you committed some heinous act, or that what you said is going to have some catastrophic impact on anything in the world... Lets not become the Misc Feels Crew. You were being a dick. He was being a dick. That sort of happens around here. You just dropped the mandingo of dicks, that's all.

Besides being insensitive, what damage was done? He hurt feelings. That's it. People make it sound like he is promoting what happened YGST or is happy it happened. It was an insensitive joke. That's it. You can choose to be terribly offended if you want to, but I don't see the damage that was done. It seems/feels worse only because YGST was "closer" to us than if it was a total stranger. Guarantee if it was a balconybrah joke nobody would be offended. I'm an open minded person though, so if you care to explain why it's something more than insensitive, or what other real damage was committed, I'm all ears. Until then, I won't be damning Dual or making it seem like he's a piece of chit, especially since everything until yesterday seems to suggest otherwise about him.

I think the aspect calling for the same thing to happen again to somebody else is more telling than joking about the guy murdered less than two months ago.

Obviously it is different to "joke" about somebody that was personally known to group you are talking with/to, than to a random stranger. You want to talk about basic social skills/awareness...

But after years of posting and seeming like a decent dude, you really think Dual finally has shown his true colors and was honestly "calling for the same thing to happen"? It was typical **** talking that goes on in here, taken to a higher level due to a reference to the recent events. I doubt Dual was legitimately saying he wanting Pin to die.

It's more about respect for an MFC brother. Based on relationships it was more insulting to some than it was to others. Regardless, I didn't like it at all.

Dual apologized and that's good in my book. I'm not gonna sit here and psychoanalyze this as to what's acceptable and what is getting butthurt. It comes down to just being a man and having respect. You can make every analytical point in the world as to why something is okay, but sometimes being right isn't really the right thing to do.
