Why do all these sites require picture of drivers license or passport.. Speaking about bittrex here. Apparently it can not find my public report for the basic verification so i have to do the enhanced..

so miners add blocks to the blockchain and in doing so they are rewarded with bitcoin?

and to do mining you need high powered speciality equipment right? so are these miners just reaping major rewards while everyone else gets scraps?

and the hot thing right now is bitcoin cash or bitcoin gold which has a superior blockchain setup so miners are ditching bitcoin and going to the coin/blockchain that currently has the most potential?
