Man, IDK what to do about the Walmart patronage.

It seems like they aren't really any different than dicks and should be shunned...right?

What's the opposite list, what companies have either come out in support of Rights/2A/4A/guns/etc or have been smart enough to STFU about it?

I haven't open carried for, ****, probably a couple years now, but I'm feeling like it's time to do some open carry as a test for the businesses I want to frequent. I used to do that somewhat often and none told me I couldn't...though there are some I suspect would now (and some I know would)

Depends if you think context.

Walmart is an all purpose BOX store that is BY far the most pro-gun of ALL box stores. They have a limited sporting goods "section". (That usually has the cheapest ammo in stores)

Boycotting them is basically giving your money to a MORE ANTI GUN establishment.THEIR COMPETITIONdidn't raise the age for selling fire arms because they DONT SELL FIRE ARMS.

This seems different to me than a sporting good store not selling sporting goods equipment and the fact that we have MUCH better options available. IMO

Walmart is the most pro-gun box store.

Wal-Mart, I give more of a pass to because they are generally more favorable to gun ownership and the 2A. They do sell guns and they do sell ammo and they haven't come out (as far as I know) to say they don't want concealed carry in their stores, etc. I don't like that they have embraced the virtue signaling bandwagon and changed their policy to 21 for guns and ammo. But they haven't refused to sell and aren't doing the stupid "we won't sell products from a conglomerate who happens to have a subsidiary who is related to guns" bs.

I would revisit that if they suddenly start going down that road, though.

wal mart does sell guns

and they did raise the age to buy said guns

and they're taking "scary looking" air soft guns off the shelves

and I'm pretty sure the one here has a no guns sign on the entrances

Fuk it.

REI crew and will remain a customer. The good they do is more important to me than pulling bladders and bicycle helmets.

At this point, it would literally be life changing for me to boycott them. Srs.

Pretty sure if you had to abandon every company that does something you don't like you'd have to live by yourself on a farm and make all your own food without any tools but your own hands.

I've open and concealed carried in walmarts. I'm 98% confident that their corporate policy is to follow state laws. In NC, that means open carry and concealed carry are good to go.

I conceal carry 50% of them time I shop at REI, too. No sign posted at the door.

While we are on the topic of Walmart...

No walmart for as long as I can remember has ever sold firearms in the Miami area. Only AMMO and certain accesories.
Are you not entertained?

Speaking of smaller high end boutique brands. Saw a Q Honey Badger for sale yesterday. Hmggg

These boycotts by companies ALWAYS come back to bite them. They over-react on the political issue of the day or appease a minority. Then when facts roll in and enough people call them out on it, they act like nothing ever happened.

These are CEO's of large businesses. You would think that they would be smarter than this. But LOL at them. Screw them all.

I’m about to go to my REI, look around, and when someone asks if I’m finding everything I need I’m gonna ask where the camelbaks are.
