did this one time when I burned a porta potty down at the park

Too much gas in the blue stuff and not enough ventilation. Almost knocked me down. Door flew open and banged close.

Just did the deed and ordered the fukin agis. already mad that i didn't order a JM custom soft belt loop strong side holster instead. Fuuuuuk

Pellet/BB gun experts assemble!

Tactical doge managed to catch a rabbit in the back yard . . . but didn't kill it. I caught him pawing at it trying to get it to play--or something. Anyway, I needed to put it out of its misery and didn't really want to smash it or anything. Called my neighbor and he had a pellet/bb gun that I borrowed. Little pump rifle--ended up taking about 25 pumps to get enough ooomph for an effective headshot.

So, I think I'll probably look to pick up a pellet/bb gun of my own to have around. Haven't shot one since I was about 12 . . . so I'm not up on the latest. Any recommendations on one? I'm thinking pistol for convenience, but might also consider a shorter rofl. Is pump better than CO2? Is pellet or bb better for good sized rabbits? This one was pretty small and bb worked after the first failed shot at lower # of pumps, but would pellet penetrate/kill more effectively?

I'd get a c02 so you can rapid fire if the first shot doesn't do ****.

I put down a diseased squirrel a few years back with a pump bb gun and pumped it to the max on the first shot and missed low and hit it in the leg and it took about 15 shots later all over the damn thing to make it stop twitching and die

We're talking about dispatching the odd wabbit here or there that may happen to get caught or otherwise find itself incapacitated in the yard. Don't think I want to invite the man into my life for that--and we're talking neighborhood here, not any kind of acreage. Air gun of some kind should be fine and quite legal.

CO2 seems like a good idea for that reason. Given how little this might need to be shot, I wonder if I'd need to pop in a new cartridge every time? Granted--probably not very expensive to do that. But I assume once you pierce the cartridge, that gas finds a way to leak out over time?

squirrels, hell, I'm over here trying to dispatch armor plated rodents (armadillos - God's natural tanks) without resorting to chasing them down with a baseball bat

Watched it a couple of times...looked like it was off of the thoracic cavity entirely. With a handgun you need multiple fight-stopping hits to drop someone reliably.

That said, lol @ shooting a guy with no weapon when you have a 5-1+ advantage, then realize you screwed up and get into a wrestling match. Guy seemed like a scumbag so nothing would come of it, but this is bad training 101.

Fold in newspaper and stomp. Fast and legal. Not trying to be a dick, I had a pet rabbit and am quite fond of them, but a projectile seems completely unnecessary in this situation.

My pup has been on a tear lately. 4 bunnies, that I know of, in the last two weeks. I just put a shovel to their necks and step on it. Quick and easy.

I feel like any Walmart has a nice selection of pellet guns that will do the trick. Just get something over 750 FPS. I haven’t looked in awhile but I’m sure they have multiple models that will get there with one pump.



Also, why TF would anyone use gas for a fire ever. Keep a can of diesel around for that you plebs.

We mix it 50/50 when doing burns. Works on wet wood too, douse and use a road flare to light.

Last night get up from couch to go make a drink in kitchen, look out front patio door and see a huge ****ing black bear strolling onto the lawn from the woods.

Black bears never really give me pause, but this is the Deebo of Black bears. 400 lbs plus easy.

He stopped in front of my ATV with a trailer and blocked all view of it. He made the ATV look small

I put up all the guns before I went to JRTC so went to safe in garage to grab a rifle. Wanted to catch him on that side of house and run him off.

Wasn’t able to.

Wildlife and Fisheries tell residents here to not fuk with them - not even to try and run them off. They're skiddish though. As soon as they see or hear you they run off. Even the monster size ones like that. Wildlife and Fisheries have caught a few that were ~400lbs around their house. They tag them then let them go in other less populated areas. They show back up weeks - months later.
