My initial conviction has evaporated. There's too many betting apps now, and the way they're bleeding is kind of nuts. Also, everyone uses fanduel.
Way too many legit companies with positive earnings for me to burn opportunity cost in dkng these days.
^This is your buy signal
Dayumm son, you gonna keep that in cash or gonna buy something else?

I've been holding DKNG a while now its still a long hold for me but I'm well positioned still up 30%

Averaging in to BROS, DOCS (if it ever dips)

Just when I should be feeling the most optimistic about dkng, I'm seeing how shaky they are given the online betting options that all became immediately available; there is apparently zero barriers to entry.

Correct, Any company can come in and start up very fast. Only thing they need is the licenses to operate which they can run through a 3rd party like FUNFF with their white label. This sector for me isn't about people betting on the NFL, NBA, etc. Those areas have so much competition like you pointed out. But what about the Esports sector? What about sports betting outside of North America. Casino gambling on their phone/app. Those 3 areas I think is could blow up in the next couple years.

I agree 100%, but which one of these companies will be the winner? Draftkings is one of the last apps mentioned IRL when I talk with people about this subject.

I got the bottom of that MRNA dip already up 40%. News doesn’t matter this chit probably gets back to $440-450. Probably some TMO puts 1hourish before close. Not a long term play but there will be profit taking for a quick 50-100% in a week

I wish I knew. I don't believe any of them will be massive. The trend is the big boys buying out the small guys. I predict that trend will continue.

Shiiieeettt you're starting to make me a skeptical hippo jpg

They do advertise it allot on TV when sports are on, I'm still leaning more towards them having a large piece of the pie compared to the other gambling companies. Like Berts said they'll probably buy out allot of their competitors. I mean, Micheal Jordan is part of that company now so i still have faith.

debt ceiling will not be issue they will not allow default

as hard republicans are pretending to care about debt (they all own stocks)

evergrande is interesting one, I don't think CCP will allow it to spill into its markets. if one day china futures go shiit than there might be spill over to rest of world markets

today is just September being September

quad witching

over extended

huge OI on everything ending

gamma coming off the board

fomc next week

same exact scenario happened last year was actually even worse.

this is sp last year yellow is September

I know everyone always wants reason we sell off for everything but sometimes they just take profit, reset and rotate.

btw they are protected to moon on downside for this week and watching option flow lunch time for next week as well SPX / NQ nothing but puts

even if there is more to go next week down

it expensive risk to take as retail

I ain’t touching MRNA until under 400 and preferably 375, 350 ideal if there is a crash or any pullback.

PLTR goes back and forth between $22 and $27 for 700 years:

OMFG! IT”S GOING TO THE MOON! WE WILL NEED ELON TO SEND A ROCKET SHIP TO PICK US UP FROM THE MOON! DIS STONK WILL BE $40 IN FUTURE!

Solana goes from 0.0000000001 cents to quadrillion dollars in 10 minutes:

This is risky, cryptos are risky! LOL at coiners! Crypto will crash and go to zero. Get out now! Abandon ship!

I will never understand investors.

do your own DD nobody here is financial advisor

what did you buy 1000 shares??

you scale in. start small 50 shares / 100 shares. (buy 10 today than next week more etc)

can lower cost average by scaling in. you know that hype phase is on atm.

Cathie's team did their due dilligence on DKNG. They wouldn't have invested in them if they didn't have a competitive advantage. It also doesn't mean they could be wrong. I don't know what their competitive advantage is over each company they compete with. But if the barrier to entry is low, then obv someone is going to come out on top and buy out the competition. Which means, all of them could be worth investing in, because it seems like a profitable market with no where to go but up, unless the fed steps in.
