Grateful for
Working out regardless of feeling sore as hell
New music I never thought I would enjoy
Not being a doormat ( I will try to resolve issues without confrontation but react and will speak my mind if I deem it necessary to)

Today I’m grateful for...
...bumping into someone who thanked me for giving him spot on advice two years ago. Felt good.
...a rare easy day at work. Let someone else do the talking.
...calf raises and presses. The only leg lifts I actually like.

-Blessed to have lived 30 years this weekend. Been pushing it extra hard in the gym and work this week to hit the 30s sprinting
-A hard workout this morning and, really, just all week. It snowed this week, but felt good to get out to the gym anyways instead of sleeping in like a punk
-Good food, family, and friends and having options available to me in many different aspects of life.
-Good health and sound mind
-Not looking and feeling like some other 30 year olds I know who have LDAR'ed, looking like they're already 40 or 50.

-Rifle season starts for deer this weekend

Grateful for

-I had part 2 of my daughters IEP (Individual Education Plan) and it went well. I signed off on having her placed in a more specialized education program to better fit her needs. She won’t be getting a high school diploma, but will receive a certificate of completion and can remain in school till she’s 22. They spent weeks testing her and we finally have a few more answers. She does fall into the Autism Spectrum Disorder category. It was hard to hear, but wasn’t anything I didn’t already know deep down inside. I’m grateful for the time, energy and compassion received by the staff at her school. Always trying to see the bright side of things considering I was once told when she was a baby she may never see or walk. So for her to be where she is now is still a blessing.

-Aldi Little Journey brand diapers! Even more inexpensive than the Costco Kirkland brand and just as good, if not better in my opinion.

-Uggz to keep my feet warm, now that the weather is getting chilly. My sister was sweet and gave me a pair of dark brown ones she no longer wanted. I’d say they go perfect with a pumpkin spice latte, but I think I’m the only white girl who really doesn’t like that drink lol.

I'm grateful for...

Another super busy but fun day at work.

Being nominated for a spot award($500 and a shout out)
and an annual innovation and diligence awards at work ($2500 and verbal hj's all the way around if I win)

A comfy bed.

Being home. My wife is stranded in DC because of weather on it's way here.

The ice cream I'm gonna ravage this evening

Today I’m grateful for...
...an almost empty gym. Can hog the double cables all night if I wanted.
...giving an effective presentation even though a tech hiccup prevented the ppt from showing.

a series of short tasks over a relatively longer period of time is life. altruistic light moves under the cover of your own darkness.. find this inner torch bearer and accompany them to the end. we all walk together, but we all walk alone. there is no understanding or purpose beyond that

I'm grateful for...

Power not being out too long with the ice. We live at the end of a line and it's usually one of the last houses to get power back. Not the case today.

Another very productive day at work in spite of a stomach bug that had me going back and forth to bathroom quite a bit.

In spite of bubble guts, I was able to get some rows and pull downs this morning.

My annual review coming up tomorrow. Can't wait for the nice comments about how great I am lol

My wife is safe. Her flights have been canceled the last couple days but shes pretty upbeat still and shes not nose diving in a plane on the way home

-Managed to get a good workout in despite it being so fukin crowded at the gym. That's why I hate working out in the afternoon, every bench/squat is taken and the people stay on it for 30+ mins. Night workouts are so much better :/
