grateful i get to go to a nice school. gotta stop worrying about trivial things like giving a presentation and appreciate what i have. i m sure people would love to be in my position. perspective.

love my mom and dad. childhood was tough but they never stopped loving my brothers and I.

Dogs. boarding a pitbull mix for the holiday weekend and he's the sweetest. had one eye removed from another dog attacking him in a junkyard. he's a cuddle bug. we can learn a lot from pups. sure it sucks missing an eye but he makes the most of life.

- had more extra time then necessary
-felt depressed af, but grateful to have the luxury of laying in bed and eating pints of ice cream without severe consequence
-kept thinking about my ex's, partly how I miss female companionship, started to reminisce but I'm grateful that I didn't ruminate on the subject too long and that I even had the opportunity to make love to their bodies.

-my 2 YO is f-ing hilarious, having the time of my life having a little one again
-spent 6 weeks in Ukraine and Dominican Republic with my extended family, just got back
-best friend of 35 years will be home for the holidays, staying in our guest house

The trip to Ukraine was an absolute blast. We did a tank and gun excursion that was as far from legal as it gets. 0 paperwork, 0 releases signed and 0 identification required.
While I was driving the tank in the woods I asked my wife about the lack of paperwork and she said "none of this is on record, the excursion company works with the military to make $ on the side".
Getting gas at a civilian gas station and driving through a residential neighborhood with everyone sitting on top was very surreal.

I'm grateful for...

[ul]
  • days that fly by right after vacation. Too busy to realize it was near the end of the day.

  • finding a house we really like and going to look at it this evening.

  • some solid tunes to make the day rock on.

  • a "meh" at best push session, but at least I was there.

  • a couple projects kicking off that will make our guys work easier.
