Any president or companies come out with an anti 2A or 5A stance today?

It's official, Glock is no longer my favorite, or my go-to, or my 'if I could only have one'.

Thus ends the 13 year undefeated streak.

I had a feeling this might happen once HK finally released an SK version of the VP9. It does not disappoint. Even though it's a 3.4" barrel and flush mags hold 10 rounds (both equal a G26) and is almost as large as a G19, that 13 round factory magazine is agame changer.Even with the G26 size slide, barrel, and sight radius yet a G19 size grip (and -2 rounds for 13+1), I shoot it more consistently better than a G19 or G26 and it just feelsright. And I don't have to drift the rear sight to the right on the HK's like I do on every single Glock (and still sometimes shots get pushed left on the GLocks). Dead center sights, dead center POI, every. single. time.

I'm up to 6,902 rounds through the various VP's with only one stoppage, the old FTRTB in the first 150 rounds through one of them while shooting cheap weak bulk 115

Full size

If I could only have one, this is it

Super Test, SK with 124 NATO (10 rounds each of 15, 10, and 5 yards, times on target)

Just about 5 shots per second with the SK (average split 0.21) with 124gr NATO and this is endlessly repeatable (5 yards)

I might sell or trade one or two.

But the 9mm Glock is just too good, and it does have some distinct advantages to the VP series, can't be a gun guy and not have a couple G19's and a G26 at least
-Easy to detail strip
-Holsters, parts, accessories, mags are far more common and competitively priced
-Still a better choice for harsh environments, if I was going to, say, carry one for a trip down a river or to a beach where I might end up replicating a MAC elements test, I might just take the Glock (waiting for a Maritime VP9, any day HK). But for regular old urban/suburban concealed carrier I am finding the VP series at least as, if not more, reliable (and clean water/rain is not an issue)

(half the reason I'd take a Glock for really harsh conditions isn't reliability but, rather, the ability to detail strip and totally clean it out later on my own with no worries)

The glock has been dethroned. Pissening. Would you say you shoot the HK's better than the CZ?

Dang Farley, I’ve never shot an HK before. The shorter grip already kills it for me. The g19 is barely perfect for my hand. On the smaller side than anything (grip wise)

I haven't shot the CZ nearly enough to evenly compare. I thought of selling the CZ since it operates differently than everything else I have and it would take concerted effort to be confident in never forgetting to decock, and I'd rather just put that time and effort (and ammo$) into the striker pistols. But when I so much as pull the CZ out to dry fire a few times I realize/remember it's too good of a pistol to consider selling. At some point I will work it up and see what I can do with it.

Right now I'm ONLY shooting the VP pistols, and it's pretty sweet, they just point like an extension of my hand now.

VP has, or at least feels like it has, a shorter trigger reach than the Glocks, as there is more of a 'cut' to the top of the grip that gets the web of your hand (between index finger and thumb) a little farther forward.

13+1 VP9SK lined up with G19

But, do not mistake this. I am a man of peace. I do not seek violence. I and my wish to be left alone, to not be troubled with the cries of mobs, and their easily swayed opinion, and their strength of only numbers. To push me and mine to violence though. it is mistake and I do beseech you not to. For it is violence that we have devoted out lives to mastering, so that others may live in blissful ignorance of the dark deeds we might need to sow. I implore your reason, I ask you to use logic, but should you demand war, it will be a war that will scar the very world you live in, and that mark will last long, even should you win. But, even in victory you will have lost. For in that war you will have weakened yourself, drained your warriors, and those who would prey upon you will find you weak, and easily conquered and you will not have men like myself and mine who are ready and willing to strike down the darkness that creeps over, for we will be embracing family and have found our peace through the darkness and violence.

I don't give a damn about public opinion. I don't care if they, or anyone for that matter like. Leave me alone to live my life. I'll return to favor. But, again, that said, I don't know the hill we make our last stand on. What do know though, is that if we keep giving in, keep retreating, keep appeasing, when that hill comes, it will be a last stand because we won't have the means to regain any ground. We will have lost! Now, I'm okay fighting a lost cause. I'm okay going down there, fighting until my dying breath. But, that is because deep down I believe maybe, just maybe, others see that. A new generation sees that sacrifice and understands what we fought for and they begin working to make a better world. If not, at least I die free and on my own terms.

I suppose there are a few songs I'll have to get around to posting in the song thread that are kind of ringing in my ears that perhaps put that mentality in a more eloquent perspective.
