Yes because the difference in odds is so totally exactly the same thing as completely changing the requirement of the actual bet itself.

Or did I miss where he said "I'll take the bet but only if I win for him getting the party nomination"

Tyler, look for a good AUS8 steel knife. Like a Rat II. There are lots of clones out there.

for 30 bucks, you won't get a quality lock back, but liner/frame locks works just fine.

AUS8 you can get a toothy grind which is more useful than serrated. It's a bish to sharpen serrated portions of the blade anyhow.

I get that, and I agree, but in my perspective outside looking in: you were laughing at him for not being confident enough in his original proposal but then you're not confident enough to take his revised bet.

EDIT: Also, I don't recall him ever even proposing odds to begin with. So what you describe isn't exactly right either. In order for you to be right about that, it would have to of happened like this:

Him: I am so confident that x will happen, I would bet 1:1 odds on it.
You: I'll take that bet
Him: Lol jk it needs to be 1:2 odds

That scenario ^ did not actually happen though.

I'm not really a betting kind of guy, but since he challenged me to "put money on it" I accepted with a reasonable amount of money.

I even said I'd do my $20 to his $15, which he ignored.

I don't recall him ever even proposing odds to begin with. So what you describe isn't exactly right either. In order for you to be right about that (by "right" I am referring to "very poor form"), it would have to of happened like this:

Him: I am so confident that x will happen, I would bet 1:1 odds on it.
You: I'll take that bet
Him: Lol jk it needs to be 1:2 odds

That scenario ^ did not actually happen though.

Apparently that is an old article and now the fiance is saying she payed for the stuff and was threatened by him and believed him about his whatever story, she owns LA rental property, she is laying claim to the guns and cars and whatever, so it's all messed up now
