I know it's been discussed a million times

Ar15 or shotgun for home defense? Even a lot of guys on the big ar15 fb group are saying shotgun.
Your life will never be a straight path.”
“To not only take risks, but to be open to life. To accept new views and to be open to new opinions. While it may be frightening, it will also be rewarding. Because the chances you take… the people you meet… the people you love…the faith that you have—that’s what’s going to define your life.”
“And when you fall throughout life, fall forward.”

Was in a virtual meeting today, it was a presentation of some new stuff. The presenter gave an example of "this is where they would choose either of the sexes, male or female."

In the virtual meeting chat, I asked "But what about the other 50 non-binary genders?"

The director of my department chats "Yes, good question."

Then one of the presenters chats, "I'll ask that to him."

The woman reads off the question in a voice such as "wtf does this mean?"

Then the presenter gets super nervous answering it, "Uh... this isn't a gender war, sorry, it was just an example. I could've used religion, i mean uh... I said religion as a joke haha... moving on."

Lmao I was laughing so hard.

We do a ton of videoconferencing and I work in a group that has a ton of interaction with the execs and senior leadership. One of the favorite pastimes for everyone is to instant message each other and try to get each other to laugh during the calls. Really hard to keep a straight face sometimes. Every now and then someone turns their camera off or shuts down their video (excuses it later as a "network issue") because they were going to bust up and didn't want to get noticed.

Hahaha yeah recently we got a new software for the meetings. In my first meeting with it, the software activated my web cam, I had no shirt looking like a slob all reclined back in my computer chair. I jumped up "ahh fvk!" but it was only a preview. Scared me bad lmao.

I think you're ready to teach Critical Thinking now!
In retrospect, Alot of college courses seemed more like busy work than anything else, especially lower division. That was one of my biggest complaints about school in general, the goal didn't seem to be preparation for practical application but rather endless testing for the hell of it. Although it ultimately depends on the teacher and the way the class is taught.

during college i worked at a popular three letter word supplement shop

every weekend there was a mandatory sales conference call led by one of the district managers. i would literally pass gas into the phone when they would take role call and the guy ignored it completely.
one time i took the phone into the bathroom with me and just went and shat my brains out while on the phone and nobody said one thing

AKM. but if we have to strictly compare AR to shotgun, then I'd say saiga 12 would be worth comparing.

Something like an AR or AK is much more tactically capable than a simple pump shotgun, which is slow to fire, slow to reload. Plus certain types of 5.56/.223 are better because they are less able to penetrate walls.
