On the topic of Tether, they are actually pretty legit, technically speaking. Like they are following all the rules and regulations that they as a company are required to. Now how they have positioned themselves to do so, that is something that governments don't like. It's what Binance did to get to where they are but even Binance has had to give into regulators around the world.

Regulatory arbitrage can only get you so far before governments want a piece of their pie.

Tether is a weird one. Coinbase feels good enough listing them, so my high level take is it must be fairly safe.

Diving into it though it seems like they were being scummy and have somewhat cleaned up their act.

No different than a regular bank imo.

it is true i am a becker fanboy, he's made me **** tons of money in nfts (neotokyo) and crypto. i sold most of his mentions though except for alu and derace because I see actual long term growth in both. i wouldnt go as far as saying alu is a chitcoin so i will take that risk
