To me Ali has been an afterthought throughout the reboot. The show keeps wanting to push Ali's possible appearance as something momentous but I just don't feel it. I don't think most of viewers of the show care as much as the writers think they do either. She hasn't even portrayed in a positive light on the show. Daniel's wife is easy to root for and for Johnny to be hung up on old high school chick is not very bad ass. Where does that leave Ali?

Ali is the reason the entire beef between johnny and daniel exists. Given Ali's profession and the way season 2 ended, her involvement will be a pretty big part of season 3.

This show is just unreal. It isn't even because of karate kid nostalgia. Second time watching it I realized how brilliant the remix was at the end.

My son and I watched the Season 2 finale last night. Damn that was jam packed full of great stuff. The fight between Daniel and Johnny at the beginning with the flashbacks from the tournament was absolutely insane.

Knowing how these writers seem to operate, since there's so much speculation of Ali returning to be the surgeon on Miguel, they'll probably set up a few more hints confirming people's suspicions, before throwing the hanging curve.

Got around to watching s2...oh boy ended up binge watching it, thought this season wasn’t going to be as good as s1 but I’m left surprised, it was just as good imo

YouTube smashed it with this series, this show is one of my favs atm, enjoyed watching this more than watching the new season of GoT lmaooooooooooo

Moar liek miagi-NO amirite fellas.

Johnny was a lot easier to love this season... S1 couldn't figure out if he was the antihero or just the villain. He acted a lot more consistently this season.

I initially wanted to watch Season 1 to laugh at it. The previews seemed pretty cringe, and when I was a kid I always thought of Miyagi Do as wimp stuff and Cobra Kai as azzhats but actually lethal. Always found it hard to root for Daniel too, brb Johnny dedicates his childhood to karate and gets beat by some kid who's new to it and learns by waxing a car?

I watched it around this time last year and was mind-blown by how good it was. I binged and finished it pretty quickly. I had forgotten about Season 2 coming out, so only noticed a few days ago. Another great season. I like how it combines the nostalgia with current climate, and doesn't take itself too seriously. Season 2 was a little annoying because it focused more on the teen stuff than Daniel, Johnny and Kreese's arcs. Though I love how it gives (almost) everyone positive and negative characteristics. Like Johnny said with his whole black-white-grey speech, it's expressed in the plot.

Not sure what I'm trying to say, but glad other miscers enjoyed it too lol
