Cut from 198-185 since May. Look like I am a prisoner of war but still don’t have abs without flexing. Not sure wtf is going on because I didn’t consider myself fat by any means.Come on. It’s been over 10lbs.

Good thing is all my lifts have been going up or staying the same pretty much.

Gonna cut 4-5 more lbs. if I am still not ripped by then I just mite say phuck and and start a clean bulk anyway.
This is a common mistake people make. They cut using the weight as the guide and not the mirror.
As I've said many times;

" We are fatter than we think and have less muscle than we would like or think."

Are you doing any cardio?

I would cut until The Shredz appear and then lean bulk.
She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

Doing hiit cardio at least every second day. Just 10 mins. Typically in the stair master and it’s 1 min “Sprint” then 2 min normal pace or I’ll jus run almost balls out for 10 on the treadmill. No endurance training.

And ya. I know I just gotta keep plugging away. It’s just so hard. I just went and bought some new workout shirts. All small (although I feel small are bigger than they use to be..)

If I recall correctly you're really only able to go all out for about 30 secs during the HIIT sprint. Have you tried it on the upright bike?
I do all my cardio on it. The movement mimics squatting.

This whole podcast is still a good listen..jump to 25:00 .

31:00 for the benefit of using the bike.

Decide you must...acquire The Shredz or acquire not.

Did you start cutting from how you look in your avi?

I agree. i do 20sec on 40sec off for 10 minutes. 5x a week.
and I do it on the sprint bike where you can apply resistance or incline.

i think this is the best way to do things. you need to sprint with that bit of resistance.

I add the resistance on the sprints also.
Then I drop it off on the rest period.

You can’t pick where you lose your fat.

But yes, overall do hiit. Stair master, running or biking.

Been working for months to get abs for vacay. Finaly it comes. Get yucky with the boys two nights in a row.

Goodbye abs. And today was beach day.

Wtf is the point if it takes 24 beer and a pizza over two days to kill months of work.

Maybe I just wasn’t cut enough to start.

meaning you have less lbm thus you cant get as lean as you were previously without looking like ****. so i think you misunderstood me, I meant its not advisable to get really lean when youve been laid up.
obviously you do have to get leaner, but id suggest people take a break to regain their gains then continue with the cut.

Lifted for the first time in like 6 weeks today. Bought a new house too far away from my gym (or any other gym) to fit into my schedule and was super busy moving into the new house, getting the condo ready to rent, taking a trip to California for vacation and a wedding, etc. Then I finally get my home gym set up and I catch the flu or something. The illness did give me a good jump start to the diet though lol. I was over 240, but now I'm ~232. Looking to get back down to ~200.

Yo, I'm finally getting there. Been lifting for a good 1.5 to 2 hours a day and using a recumbent bike at work. Gained back most of my lost muscle and am sadly the leanest I've been so far. 37 and I finally buckled down. Plan to be shredded for the summer if this plan works to get that lean. Averaging 3500 calories, gaining strength looking visibly leaner all the time while maintaining my body weight.
