this year, i don't think anyone will pay taxes on altcoin trades. government doesn't care enough, yet.

but Coinbase or Gemini will probably send you a tax document with all your fiat/BTC or fiat/ETH trades that you will have to file + any you cash out.

IRS wouldn't even know you have millions of cryptos until you withdraw them. So how will they tax those in the exchange. And aside from that, those are speculated values that fluctuates every second.

The value of your crypto will only be fixed once you withdraw and convert them to FIAT. That's the only time there's a way to tax them.

Edit:

Its the same with miners. IRS wont have a way to know I mined 10 ETH for example. Even if I trade that 10 ETH in bittrex, they wont know its mine. Only time it will register to me is when I transfer it to my bank as US$.
To the speculated values point, the IRS states that the value of the traded cryptocurrency is determined by the value of it is USD at the time of sale.

You're right, but it's different with Walton/Omise.

I'm dead confident with Walton judging by the results from the community alpha tests, I am excited to test it myself in the beta phase soon. There are 2 competitors, AMB and MOD. There is a real need in the industry for this project to work. How unrealistic is an influx of 150 Million dollars ? Hype projects gain sometimes 500 Million in two days. Why shouldn't 150 Million happen with a project that seems to have a working product already according to the alpha testers?


However, with OMG, I am a little reluctant, I won't lie. Only reason I'm waiting for it is because of Plasma and the support this project is getting.

I wont because all I did was deposit. So everything is an expense to me. Maybe I can claim that expense as an investment that hasn't given me any return yet officially.
Aside from the gov't doesn't care, they really don't know at this point who owns those currencies. Only thing they know is there is about $200B worth of crypto in the market.

Market cap is 130 M right now, IMO it can reach 500 Million easily, but if you don't want to be very optimistic, with news coming out, it can easily hit 250 M, which will double your investment.

Also, boxmining will be visiting Walton very soon for interviews, there are rumours about demos and stuff. That should boost the price a bit.

ok its holding over its support at $4.40 but looks like a downward slope with the occasional pump.

Still up a lot for 2-3 months


Convince me why its a good buy? Does it have a working product yet?

It might be a decent buy but u can get 5x more on small cap coins

You're right. Chart wise it's not looking good, and I think you can get it at lower in December or early January.

Why I'm bullish :

- Incredibly Active Team : Very active on Slack, when community needs them they answer
- Chinese Backing ( Chinese/ Korean Company ) ( It's in Hong Kong, so we don't have to worry about the Chinese government too much )
- Market Cap has a lot of place to grow. All time high is 230 Million, now it's 130 Million ( with Low circulating supply, so it's very easy to reach 10+ without getting billions )

- It's the first RFID blockchain project and the closest one to having a complete project compared to Ambrosus and Modum

- Major support levels around 4.5 dollars, has not dropped below it.
- 1 small sign of a bullish trend can lead to fomo
- Suppoman is chilling it lately

What if u sell into fiat making 10% profit and then using the money to buy more when it dips. THen selling the high again, rebuying at dip. I think its each profit made is taxed.

Yes I KNOW BCH went from 280, I was "shilling" it early on and giving free BCH away

BUt that was when BCH was still young, now its big and dominating.
