switch between, not with any practical application other than training your DA trigger pull. As mentioned previously you can use the decocker and move back into DA, but typically you can switch to single action by manually cocking the hammer and firing the gun which will complete one discharge cycle and leave the gun in SA ready to fire again.

To make it short:
RMR/SRO/507 require an adapter plate for milling
Anything else can be milled direct to the slide.
Shield RMS is the only thing that can be fit WITH a rear dovetail. All the rest above require the rear dovetail to go bye bye.

I get asked that question all the time IRL. First thing I ask back is "What's your budget?". Then from there we talk gun, ammo, and training. Almost all people want to ditch the training. Big mistake.

If you can't make at least $400 in your budget for something that could save you or your families life. Sorry brah...

I mean, seriously, this is -the- buy for someone wanting a good first pistol.https://grabagun.com/smith-and-wesso...15-1-4-fs.html
Under $400 and great capacity, easily concealable in a good holster, GOAT grip texture, accurate, reliable. Only lacks in trigger, but can be upgraded later. P-10 C definitely wins the trigger department between Glock and M&P.https://www.smga.com/cz-usa/p10-comp...k-blk-151-1378

Whatever fits your hands the best and feels the most comfortable from Glock, Walther, H&K, Smith and Wesson, or CZthat is in 9mm. If you want something for good concealment, look at the single stack 9mm's and also the subcompacts(Glock 43/26, M&P shield, etc). If you want something with a little more capacity look at the mid size 9mm's(glock 19, m&p compact, etc). If you want a gun to keep at home and to shoot at the range, look at the full size 9mm's(glock 17/34, CZ 75, etc)

Any of the above listed manufacturers will give you a very reliable handgun. It just comes down to what fits your hand the best and what the purpose of the pistol will be

Largely garbage. After playing around with different chest rig designs, I haven't found anything more comfortable and quicker on/off than a vest.

Spiritus style micro. It hangs on my shoulders in a way that pulls them forward and is generally uncomfortable even loaded out as light as this is.

Warrior Assault Systems PC with Tactical Tailor pads. These are great. Big fan, and fairly reasonable. If you loaded it with thin IIIa pistol plates it would basically be a chest rig +.

My ratty old IDF vest. I prefer this to any of the micro options. There is padding in between your body and the mags, and it has just enough storage for everything you would ever want to carry.

so much hate on the beretta... it is an awesome pistol, not the best choice for ccw but regardless it is dead nuts reliable and fun to shoot.

the compact is a better choice for ccw over the full size but personally im wary of an external hammer because of the possibility of catching on clothes.

Here's a dumb short semi interesting video I did. Testing new go pro 8 to see if it's worth recording in 2.7k at 120fps for slow motion. Doesn't seem worth it, will record in 4k 60fps instead

as far as reliability goes they are flawless. id say check out both the inox and the oldschool black and see which one you like more. the inox is more expensive though.

I spent some time on the ar15.com forums when it was time to get a plate carrier. The information there was quite helpful. I presume they would be helpful with your search for a chest rigs.

If you are considering the Glock 17 also take a look at the Glock 45. It is my carry and I love it.
