Today I am grateful for:

1. Looking leaner due to more self control with diet

2. Finishing a great book this morning outside in the beautiful weather

3. Progress that I'm seeing daily in forming good habits. I make my bed every morning now and I usually remember to do so on my own (I write things and tasks down in a planner that I want to form into habits) This sounds like a little thing but I'm starting to be able to apply it to larger and more complicated tasks as well.

Have a great day everyone!

- some new responsibilities I assumed at work today.

- one of the better push sessions I've had in a while and I was able to complete it in about 45 minutes.

- ground chicken, buffalo sauce with 0 calories, and grilled peppers for lunch..hnnnnng

- headphones to jam out while working and smashing some weights.

- the amazing weather today. Sunny and upper 60s will never get old.

Today, I'm grateful for:

- My wife finally getting some relief from her frequent migraines (it looks like acupuncture is working for her).

- Good movies on Netflix.

- Living in a place with constant access to clean and cheap water.

- Not needing to worry (too much at least) about finances. Despite paying more than $27,000 to our condo board in the last 4 months and paying too much for a trip to disneyland, we're still making progress to our financial goals.

- Both of the girls getting up and ready for school quickly this morning, with no hassling on my part.

UPDATE:

They untied her arms from the hospital bed posts...which is amazing because that was very traumatic!

-she is talking a bit...INCREDIBLE.

-not much of an appetite, but wanting food is something

-talking again and functioning again [albeit basic] Praise the Lord

-the MRI machine is out of use right now...we are waiting for it to be repaired within the next few days so they can pinpoint the tumor and essentially kill it with surgery

LIMBO....RIGHT NOW STRAIGHT LIMBO.... praying....

- For deciding to start journaling at the start of this school year. Just spent a couple hours reading through the 300+ pages I've written. Feels everywhere.

- Being motivated enough to get all my school work for next week, done tonight.

- Bdubs with my old hall and then getting drunk tomorrow night.

Today I'm grateful for:

- We play the last place team in our hockey division tonight, so we can maybe actually win a game for once (we're second last).

- Boring meeting this afternoon finished early.

- Met up with an old friend for lunch today.

- Just got an extension on a project that I'd already put on the backburner.
