Question for the experts...

I bought a PSA 10.5" 5.56 and by mistake, they sent me your typical stock, buffer tube, buffer and spring. I'm having failure to feeds on the last round and the BCG doesn't stay back after the mag is empty. I'm wondering if it's because I don't have the pistol buffer tube/stock for it. Maybe too much spring/buffer for the short barrel. Also turns out what they sent me qualifies as a SBR. 3/5 stars for PSA. Liking CBC much better now.

Having a buffer tube that can still accept a rifle stock makes it still a rifle. Taking it apart and having only rifle parts in your house with that barrel is likely to be looked at as still having an illegal SBR.

Short answer: forget about why what you have isn't working, and get real quick on getting the proper pistol brace in hand and make it a pistol.

Ya they did. Sent the buffer tube and stock back this morning for exchange. At their rate, in 6 months I'll finally get what was supposed to come in the first place. I could probably get approval from the ATF for a SBR before I get their replacement.

hey from cali getting my first gun thinking about a shield have shot it felt good also shot a glock 19 but was very uncomfortable to shoot but i was pretty accurate with it unlike the shield. but now iv been thinking i want to try a sig sp 2021 do you guys think it would be a good carry gun i have a small frame and think the shield might be the best but i like the looks of the sig

Sig p365 is a good small carry gun. 10 rounds of 9mm in a nice compact package. The trigger is pretty decent. I can shoot it about as good as my USP at least for shorter ranges(5-7 yards). I also have a vp9. Sometimes I can shoot it pretty good, but the trigger is not as good as the USP in single action or the little sig trigger. It depends on your budget. The main thing is to practice with your gun of choice on a regular basis. dry fire, live fire, draws, reloads.
