I think ive tried a couple from Imaginary Authors. Only one i remember is Mint Julep. It was a minty frag with hints of BR 540 from what i recall. Decent, but nothing i wanted to wear all the time.

Performance is average for an EDP. My OG La Nuit from 2012 is an EDT and kicks this EDP's ass all over the place in terms of scent and performance. But still, the EDP is pretty damn good.
I'll give it another day or two of wearing before I properly rank it compared to Le Male Parfum (which I also have and love) and some old school CH Men.

SOTD : YSL La Nuit EDP vs. JPG Le Male Parfum
2 sprays YSL on left arm.
2 sprays JPG right arm.
Both of these are similar so I thought I would put them head to head and crown a winner.
Both are rich, warm, perfect cold weather fragrances. Both are sweet but JPG is a bit sweeter while La Nuit EDP is a bit warmer feeling with that heavy cardamom note.
To sum it up right quick:
- Both smell nice, I think JPG Le Male Parfum smells better.
- La Nuit EDP performs below average, Le Male Parfum performs above average but not nuclear strength.
- La Nuit EDP feels more like a close encounter "date night" type of scent (if you get it to last long enough), Le Male Parfum is a better general, all around cold weather choice. That warm vanilla really puts it over the top for me.
God knows I love the Le Male DNA, and God knows I certainly love the La Nuit DNA so I genuinely have no bias...... but if I were to buy a full bottle of either I would easily take theJPG Le Male Parfum.
La Nuit EDP is a nice flanker but it's notgreat.It's different enough from Lhomme and La Nuit where you can easily justify owning both because it IS greatly different. I still believeLhomme Parfum Intenseis the best YSL flanker.

How in the world have I not smelled this one before? It came out in1994and I'm just now discovering it. Sad! Very, very sad!!
It's designer as all hell, it's synthetic as all hell, but oh man it smells great. Nobody will mistake it for a super high end niche, but surely even the snobbiest of frag heads can acknowledge this one is pretty nice for what it is. Surprisingly it doesn't smell "dated" for being such an oldie.
Clean citrus, some woody vanilla, light florals, that smooth sandalwood I always love. Notes list rose but I dont detect it specifically.

Middle notes are Lavender, Rose, Carnation, Heliotrope, Jasmine, Geranium, Sage, Fir and Lily-of-the-Valley;
Base notes are Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Sandalwood, iris, Musk, Amber, Vetiver, Cedar and Patchouli.
