And my post wasn’t passive aggressive, I’m literally asking you if all those Country’s should do as you suggest Ukraine should have done? Moldova could be invaded any day, should they go ahead and surrender?

According to him, what Putin is doing is cycling his new recruits through Ukraine to give them combat experience. Essentially he's using this as a training exercise.

There's a persistent narrative from pro-Russians that Putin is keeping the 'good troops' in reserve while allowing the inexperienced ones to gain combat experience and weaken Ukrainanian resistance. That might have been defensible, although implausible, in days 1 to 3. It makes no sense whatsover 60+ days into a war where the Russians are bogged down and suffering horrible losses.

But your argument about the world interfering is misplaced. If Putin had not invaded in the first place how much death and destruction could have been avoided? The issue is not with the west and its proxy war, the issue is with Putin.
Do you really think Putin would have stopped at the Ukraine border if no resistance was put forward?

Some more interesting takes -
The videos of russian military going around on the web aren't the actual russian military, it is the local pro-russian militias in the donbass. The russian military is extremely disciplined.
Ukrainian military was defeated in the first few weeks of the war. Explains the importance of mobility in modern warfare and the first thing Russia did was destroy Ukraine's ability to move troops/equipment. At that point it was only a matter of time.
Russia's goal was always to take over eastern ukraine to establish a land bridge. Negotiations were a farce. The man russia sent to negotiate had no experience in international negotiations. They knew all along it would accomplish nothing.
Major lols had at the equipment being sent to ukraine. Explain that each country is just sending whatever extra equipment they have and want to get rid of. It's just a random mix of gear with no logistical way to use together. Also mentions javelins and stingers everyone is so excited about are practically useless. Based on the number of them used relative to the equipment destroyed they're essentially a non factor. They get into the way combat effectiveness is calculated a bit. Apparently as far back as world war 2 russia started developing a strategy for using artillery as their primary weapon and establishing complicated mathematical models to determine where and how to use them.

Some more interesting takes -
The videos of russian military going around on the web aren't the actual russian military, it is the local pro-russian militias in the donbass. The russian military is extremely disciplined.

Negotiations were a farce. The man russia sent to negotiate had no experience in international negotiations. They knew all along it would accomplish nothing.
Also apparently the goal was to take over the oblasts that were already more or less under Russian control.
Also Russia never wanted to peacefully end the conflict, thanks for adding that part, now we can get rid of the "Zelensky and Ukrainians could end this peacefully any day" bullchit narrative.

"Complicated mathematic models" - uh huh, for what, Donbass militia?
All in all the Russian army is disciplined and cool and tactical and whatever, only the militia were blown up - being dressed up as pros -, Ukrainian army has been long destroyed and it was all a feint bro. Also the NATO weapon supplies are totally useless, bro.
So what the hell is going on, hmm? Post Moskva pls.

I'm no politician but I'm not sure how the west could deal with Putin directly. The fact remains, as you well know, that but for Putin's invasion death and destruction at the scale we're seeing would non existent. I have no dog in this fight - I support neither Ukraine nor Russia. But Russia is the aggressor here.
Did you miss my question - "Do you really think Putin would have stopped at the Ukraine border if no resistance was put forward?". Care to answer?
