Once a teenager with good promise, Roger has grown up to be a bitter, miserable, apathetic, lonely adult. Now at age 41, he currently lives with his mother while bouncing from job to job; experiencing long bouts of unemployment in-between. Why would he make a good mascot?

Roger represents a significant portion of the Misc. Guys who, in their 20s, looked around and saw a one bedroom apartment instead of a suburban home, saw bitter obese women instead of sweet supportive ones, saw the massive debt required just to have a semi-respectable career one day...they saw the cards that were laid out and decided that the juice, that sour juice, simply wasn't worth the squeeze. Now, still lacking direction, they sit back and wait for the world to burn.

As a police officer, him being a mascot would represent the duty to protect and serve the forums that is bestowed to all of us as the inheritors of the new iteration of a forum we know and love

While his success rate is questionable, he has managed to awkwardly attempt to seduce many of his female coworkers; most of them turned him down on scent alone. And even after six restraining orders, and three indecent exposure arrests, Raji is more determined than ever to pull in the beautiful ladies and give them the life they always dreamed of.


Why would he make a good mascot?

Raji's resilience and determination is something we can all look to for inspiration. He's a perfect example of what can be achieved when you don't let the "no's" drag you down. Not only that, but I think a lot of members here can relate to both his Indian heritage, and his frequent failures with the opposite sex.

Raji now has the opportunity to break down a major barrier by becoming the first Indian mascot of a significant bodybuilding forum.

Description:

Raised in the local pond by his loving mother, Donald never felt like he truly belonged there. He frequently tried to fit in with the other ducks, his peers, but they never accepted him as one of their own. Possibly due to his inability to fly. Maybe because he was several feet taller than they all were. Who knows. But after years of mistreatment, Donald knew there was more to life than the hierarchal politics of pond living.

Upon reaching adulthood, Donald courageously stepped away from the pond in hopes of beginning his journey into the real world, the human world. Unfortunately, despite being half human, he quickly found himself facing the same struggles. Loneliness, rejection, isolation, alienation.....the same old pattern. Unable to find his place, Donald now devotes his time trying to understanding interworkings of society; a heartless, unforgiving society. A society that seems determined to destroy itself from within. Maybe one day, Donald VonDuck will find his place in the world. Maybe one day, he'll make sense of it all.


Why would he make a good mascot?

We all have a little VonDuck in us. Socially isolated to some degree and struggling to understand the blind devotion so many folks have to social trend & convention. I think everyone here feels like a bit of an outcast in modern society. If not, you all should. Maybe there is no place for VonDuck, or any of us here. But we all have this bastardized version of the Misc. And perhaps that's all we need.
