1. My main concern is the United States and the US economy so yes we've damaged Iran but what difference does that mean for average Americans? Gas prices have almost doubled and critical infrastructure has been destroyed in the GCC countries that will have reverberations for years.

2. Following up on the destruction of US bases in the GCC countries, many of these countries now know that the United States cannot or will not protect them against shared enemies rendering the entire point of hosting US bases moot. Most of these bases will not be rebuilt and some of those countries will look towards China and Russia for cooperation agreements.


3. Due to the fact that the United States cannot militarily open the Strait of Hormuz and cannot get their carrier groups within 200 miles of the Iranian coast, this has been a big blow for the perceived power of US military projection. We have now demonstrated to the world, China specifically, that there are limitations to US power and any chance that we can militarily defend Taiwan has been completely blown up.


4. What are the objectives of this war they were trying to achieve? Be specific. There are three main things that we militarily can't do hence the reason we agreed to the ceasefire - change the regime, open the Strait, and end their nuclear program. Several people within the administration warned the president that all these things weren't possible, but he continued anyway.

5. What are the second and third effects of the economic damage? How many civilians will now suffer because of this war. Is this a moral or ethical consideration for you?
