Jenna: Where are we surfing?

Heidi: READ THE TOP OF THE PAPER!



Kula seems recovered from the chickenpox from the past couple of days.



And Mary is not afraid with flaunting her blue/green tank top.



Heidi has a mental breakdown and is concerned about the waves.



Heidi: Death is not on my list. The waves here are dangerous.



I don't know who's butt is sticking out in the black right there. I think it's Molli?

Danielle decided to take the girls to a smaller spot for the girls to surf at.

Annoying cheesy music plays in the background. I know you can't hear it from just reading this but take it as you will.




COOL AS THE DAY WE MET TO BE SO COOL AND GORGEOUS.



Molli uses Heidi's board to test drive the surf and it doesn't work out for her as she dented the board, while in the water.




Jenna: Molli uses Heidi's board and dents it from duck diving and she's like "we shouldn't tell her" and all the other girls are like "yeah, yeah, yeah." and I just shook my head. I can't believe you guys.




Molli: We can fix it and that's all that matters.



Robyn drives the girls back and seems to follow with the ideal plan not to tell Heidi of her dented board.

Is that an actual candy? I guess it is.



No I don't want to eat Nerds rope candy. Groce. Bad for your gains. Lay down and rot for anyone who eats that garbage. Don't be a Timothy.

Back to the show.

Molli: I didn't think this through.

LMAO at Heidi's eyes.

Molli straight up tells Heidi that she dented her board.



Heidi: Total disrespect and that pisses me off.

Heidi: Just ask me. It comes back like what I deal with at home.

The girls go out for drinks.




I don't know why Heidi is there as she's 19 and not 21. Same with Jenna. She's 18.

Kula: We don't hate Heidi and Jenna. We just want to shut them up.

Molli: We just want to tell all of us, not just them feel this way.

Heidi: I don't get why they hate us.

Well, that change in scenery was a waste of time. Thought it was going to be interesting, with the girls getting drunk.

But, no let's berate Heidi and Jenna more.



Daybreak comes.



Danielle continues to show more and more revealing clothing every episode.




Clipping the buoy challenge.

Jen: I'm bad at holding my breath.



Jenna injures her finger and gets it stuck in the clip. And the other girls mock her.



April has a belly button piercing.




Jenna sighs in frustration.

Jenna: I hate these girls.




The top 2 are Vivian and Heidi and Vivian wins the mini-competition.




Heidi flaunts her body some more.

Some kind of Skittles fireworks commercial. You can tell by the red, yellow, green and purple festives. Okay.

Back to the show.



Robyn: I'm doing tequila. (Robyn's 19 by the way)

Nothing to note to mention and I won't say anything about this unless something worthwhile happens here. Don't bait me like that again.

It doesn't. Saved you 2 minutes of this scene.

Molli: We're boy hungry. We've been without seeing guys for almost a month now.



Daybreak again.



Jenna is about to have a breaking point with the girls.

Mary: Shut up and get in the car Jenna!



Molli makes her body gut stick out.

Jenna: I don't want these people to sabotage me.

Heidi: We're you guys going against me about the board?

Molli: It was me that dented your board and I was going to tell you about it.

Robyn: Heidi...it was a joke.




Jenna: Robyn says it's a joke. Every one was dead serious and I didn't want to bother saying something, Heidi wouldn't have known.

Have to side with Jenna here. That's not right.

And...the episode ends like that? Okay.

I never thought I would see this show again in my lifetime or if not, until I was 80. Nice to finally see it again.

I wonder how much money it cost MTV to fly the girls from Australia to Samoa.

This was the song they played during the surfing montage of Episode 7 for two minutes.

Episode 8





Vivian flaunts her hair in the morning.

There is a new judging competition coming up.



Jenna: All we had is short boarder judges so far and I'm sick of it.

I actually was not aware of this until now. Thank you Jenna.

And everyone else laughs.



Jen: Jenna is so rude.

Shut up Jen. You seriously are the boring person I've ever seen in ANY single reality show in my life.

Jenna didn't even raise her voice at all as she said this.





Kula's body on display here. And Vivian's shoulders. And Robyn's.

Time for a new competition.



Vivian is doing well.








Heidi, Jen, Robyn and Kula perform on the waves as Danielle shows some skin, watching the proceedings.



Jenna: You're competing with 8 other girls, not just 3 or 4.



Jenna starts out well and then crashes near Molli.

Jenna breaks her board and it snaps in half.

Jenna: And now I'm crying again.




April tries to do her best out there.



Dodging editing here as we jump out to the girls drinking again out of nowhere during dusk.

Robyn's age changes from 19 to 20. I guess she had her birthday recently.

The photographers compliment Heidi and say she's the best model-esque of the girls.

I have no idea who's butt tattoo that is. It's probably Kula's to match her red top she's wearing, judging by the front.




Jenna: The girls have no clue who's going home next. No clue.

A recap of the girls are shown. Heidi taunts her feet to the camera.



Elimination time. Here we go.



Danielle: Vivian, you've been sitting on the shoulder. There's a little timid-ness in you. You're in the yellow this week.



Danielle: Jenna...I'm frustrated with your attitude. I don't want to hear it and no one else wants to hear it. The actions you say have consequences.





Jenna: WHAT!?!?




The episode immediately ends on a cliffhanger with no clarity on any potential eliminations.

Odd, I know. They used archive footage of Heidi modeling without her uttering a single word on camera and kept her mute her almost.

The whereabouts of these girls in 2026, is practically unknown. No known social media for any of the girls. This was really lost media.

I'm doing all the soul searching here. I can't find any social media for any of them.

The guys the girls see in the show are just tourists, that just happen to be in the same country that the girls are randomly surfing in.

Surf Girls would come on during the middle of the afternoon back in the Summer of 2003 and reruns would come on RIGHT BEFORE TRL was on. (MTV's marquee show at the time)

MTV shot themselves in the foot and changed the songs while the girls were surfing every 10 seconds, so it would require a bunch of licensing issues from MTV they had to pay for -- as all of the songs were owned by different record labels/companies, so they never released the show on DVD.

It's like that even with YouTube videos, where I simply just use my natural voice or dialogue instead of running into copyright issues of the songs, and that goes for movies as well.

Reality shows like this will never happen again. Archive your chit. Thank God this was found.

Episode 9



Jenna is the only girl to be placed in the red. The only girl getting negged by Danielle here.




Holy crap. We actually get the intro to the girls. Finally.



Day 35 of this so far?



Jenna: Don't judge against me for my attitude, Danielle.

Danielle: It's hard for me to say this to you...



Danielle: We're not eliminating this week, because we haven't given you a chance for you to fix your attitude with it and address that with you and you're on heavy watch right now.




Robyn: Jenna's the youngest out of our whole crew. She's never been away from home.



Jenna: I'm trying really hard. I'm not being peppy as I can be. I'M NOT A PEPPY.

...Like Peppy Hare from Star Fox? Okay. Do a barrel roll Jenna.




I like the belt Jenna's wearing to her outfit.

Jenna: I really want to be here.



And the two embrace in a hug.




Surfing camp competition and Molli is wearing a yellow outfit.

The girls surf for about 5 minutes.





And then we are greeted to a bunch of 6-year-olds watching the proceedings.




The girls will be teaching 6-year-olds how to surf.



Nice white top Jenna.




Yeah...this is really something.



Mary busts out of her top.

Vivian: I feel like I'm babysitting. Sigh.



Vivian's kid wipes out.



Vivian: It's too much for me to handle.

Back to the show.





Lunch time for the girls.

Jenna: April's getting cockier and more self-absorbed and she's not getting any better. I'm not going anywhere.




A Tow-In challenge. The girls are wearing generic clothing apart from Heidi.



Vivian gets blisters on her lips from the hot sand mixing in with the wind. Something like that.



Jenna: I'm here for a reason and I'm here to stay.



Mary fumbles the challenge pretty poorly.



April seems to be doing well at it.



Vivian does well at it as well.



Robyn performs it well.



Tow-In Results



Nightfall comes and we are addressed with "April's Room" at the bottom of the screen.



A feud between April and Mary starts to progress.

Robyn: I don't know what Mary has against April. It enrages me.



And a bird almost poops on Mary.




Oh jeez. Here we go.



Robyn: Just go up to Mary and Vivian and tell them what's your problem with me? Don't f*** around like that. Do it. If you can't f***in tell it to my face, then just do it. That's what I would do.

A random Taco Bell "Drink Big Win Gas" sweepstakes. Buy any extra large drink and you can win a year's worth of gas.

Millions can win. Never heard of this sweepstakes before back in the summer of 2003 until now. Very puzzling find in these recordings.




A random Spider-Man cartoon aired on MTV? Wow.

Back to the show.




Vivian: April wants to talk and I'm like oh here we go.



April: I heard you guys think I'm really competitive in the water and it hurts me, because I'm not like that at all.

April: Do you understand?

Mary: Sometimes.

April: But-

Mary: It's not going to solve anything.

April: It's sometimes like it's a paddle battle with you. I'm sorry.

Mary: I don't need an apology.

April: Other girls say I do that too.

Mary: Well, that's good then.

Mary and Vivian just completely blow April off.

Mary: You know there's tension between me and you.

April: I don't have any tension, with you or Vivian whatsoever.

Mary: I'm not even saying that.

April: You are!

Mary: I'm not even saying that April. It's not a big deal.

April: Then don't say anything behind my back. You don't even want to talk about it.

Mary: You shouldn't make any extra effort to make sure somebody likes you. I don't feel like I have to do that.

April: ...I'm just trying to stop the negative energy.

Mary: It's fine. I'm over it.

April: Mary totally didn't wasn't to talk about it, when I brought it up to her.

And April cries and walks away.











Vivian: Sigh. I love it. It's all about group therapy.



Decision making for the next elimination.



Great. Back to the green/yellow/red board reps/negs placements.

Dun dun dun.



Danielle: We should probably do a surf off between them.



And the episode ends accordingly so with Jenna and Vivian in the red (negs) and Danielle can't make a concrete decision with who to eliminate.

Another episode in the books. Next episode is likely the surf-off between Jenna and Vivian.

The show has a 8.4/10 rating on IMDB.com. A bit surprised by the rating honestly.

None of these sloots are from the Texas area. They're all from Florida/California/Hawaii.

Episode 10



Here we go. Day 37 of this for the girls of this summer camp?



Vivian hates mosquitos.





Vivian gets a staph infection and it's contagious.



Vivian: I'M GOING TO GIVE IT TO YOU MARY!!!

2003 reality television at it's finest.



Danielle: It's common for surfers to get staph infections here.

Elimination time.



Danielle: We're going to go to Hawaii first and make a decision before we make an elimination.

Jenna: What happens after Vivian goes the doctor and she's okay?

Danielle: We'll have a surf off.






Molli displays her body on screen.



The girls do one last test wave performance in the water before traversing over to Hawaii.

Kula seems to do the best out of the bunch.

Molli face plants into the water and looks like she injured her foot.




Molli's foot is bleeding.

A Pepsi commercial featuring Beyonce.

The only noteworthy commercial to talk about. Back to the show.



Molli: The reef has bacteria in it, and the doctors squeezed lime on my foot, to get it out.



Jen does well in the water.




Robyn snap backs in the water beautifully.

One the male judges on the boat in the water, even calls Robyn pretty hot in the water.



Nightfall comes in Tahiti.



Danielle compliments Robyn's work in the water, saying it's best she's ever looked.



The girls pack up for Hawaii.



Molli: We are in our layover in Los Angeles and Robyn is crying hysterically. What the heck?



Robyn: HOW BAD IS IT!?!? TELL ME THE EXTENT OF IT!!!



Robyn: It's my Grandmother and she has cancer! She's the center of my family.

And Robyn's gone.




Robyn: I could care less about winning this over my Grandmother. My Grandmother is more important than surfing.

And Robyn's gone just like that.





Heidi: She has lung cancer.

Jenna: Robyn's a great competitor and she has a bright future ahead of her.




The episode really should have ended right then, and there. But it doesn't.



Flight to Hawaii and Kula (something wrong with her shoulder blade), Vivian and Molli go to the doctor.

You lose more than water when you sweat. An ad for Gatorade. Touché.

Back to the show.



Hawaii has 10/10 looking trees.




The doctor advises for Kula to take it easy and come back for more treatment if it still troubles her, a week later.



Molli's foot after the injury. Groce.

The doctor says to wear protective covering for her foot.

Vivian: Kula told me it was a boy.

Kula's shoulders and we are back at the beach.

Danielle: Jenna and Vivian are having a surf off.





Jenna: Oh my god this is happening. I'm in shock. I can't think of what else to describe it.

And then the episode finally ends.

Hawaii is so pretty.



Vivian alerts her family that she might get kicked off for this.





We get to this beach in Hawaii.

Danielle tells Jenna and Vivian that it will be just the two of them surfing against each other for 30 minutes.





Whoever does the best stays, the worse of the two goes home. Simple as that. Go.




Game time.




Jenna is creaming her.




Vivian: I haven't been able to catch a wave for 12 minutes. It's going by too quickly.

Vivian is irate.

Jenna: Anything I do, just make the judges decide if I leave or not.



Vivian finally gets something going.

Judge: Jenna was more aggressive, Vivian has more style.





Jenna wins the face-off. Vivian's gone.

Back to the show.



Molli's sunglasses.



Mary's black bra.



Heidi's push-up bra. Pretty much production wants them to show more skin than usual with the finale coming up.

Jenna vs. Kula vs. Mary vs. April

Winner of this gets an automatic bye to the finals.




Jenna: I felt like I did really well.




Kula works with bending her legs as well as she could.



April actually doesn't crash right here, even though her back almost gives out.

Mary does horribly and Kula injures her shoulder more.

Jen vs. Heidi vs. Molli



Jen: I'll be okay if I make it to the last 5.

Jen still terribly being yawn educing.




Mary wins. And here's a picture of her wearing a black bra.




Molli and Mary are guaranteed a spot in the finals.

Mary: This gives me time to center myself and not worry about myself getting eliminated and I'm very proud of myself.

If you say so.




At the stay spot, the 7 girls are reunited with greeting their boyfriend they haven't seen in over a month.



Oh god. I'm skipping this scene.



Kale: My boyfriend has let me lived with him for over 2 years and I need to know now, if you want me to be with you forever or not.

Kula: I'm 19 years old and I have my whole life ahead of me and I have to make up my mind.




Yeah, you're 19 and not even thinking about college or being old enough to drink yet.



This scuffle between Kale and Kula looks bad.

Oh god Kula. Danielle consults her with a hug.

Kula debates quitting.

I'm ready for this show to be over with.

Jen vs. Heidi. The winner moves on, the loser gets eliminated.

April vs. Kula vs. Jenna. The top 2 move on. The bottom, the worst performance of the 3 between April, Jenna and Kula goes home.



Nice hat Jenna.

Jen: I don't like Heidi. I don't want to lose to her.

Heidi: Jen wants it the most, and I'll do my best.





Jen just destroys Heidi all throughout the surfing bout.

Heidi: If I don't catch a wave within the first 5 minutes, I freak out.

Heidi looked horrible throughout.



Kula vs. Jenna vs. April now.




Jenna: Kula seems to be preoccupied by her boyfriend, I'm ready to beat her ass it's not even funny.

Her boyfriend calls Kula, Kool-Aid.








April closes it on a high note.



Jen wins over Heidi and Heidi is eliminated.




Heidi: I really wanted it.





April and Kula win over the judge's decision over Jenna and Jenna is eliminated.

Jenna: I don't regret anything but, you know what? I did win. I feel like a better person.

Mary: She's done a complete 180 and Jenna has grown into a woman.

Down to five girls. Vivian, Heidi and Jenna are eliminated. That's a wrap.

There never was a sequel to this and I'm glad there wasn't.

Back in the 2003 days, not everything got a sequel as it would have, and I think chances are if there was a season 2 to this? The results would be dismal.
