Hey boyos , just hit a new milestone. My blood sugar levels were high , like in the 8’s . It was getting late but it’s back day so I hit the gym but decided to add in some deadlifts.
lol I’m just getting back into it and was only was deadlifting 95 pounds for reps in the teens for now .
Anyways I just checked my blood tester and hit a record low . First time I’ve gotten a 4.6 . Under 4.0 is hypoglycaemic, so you don’t want to go that low if possible.
Strange thing is I hit legs fairly hard yesterday and it didn’t help my blood sugar .

type 2 diabetes is reversible.
just right now your insulin sensitivity in fked and you became insulin resistant over time because of it - so your body has an issue pushing blood glucose from the blood into cells, and taking fat out of the body. its like a 2 way entrance that doesnt work properly.
the insulin your body creates isn't doing its job property, and that is why type 2s need extra insulin shots to force the blood glucose out of the blood whch results in instant weight gain from the insulin shots, as it gets forced into fat, and because they dont address and fix the insulin resistance, over time they need even more shots as they become more insulin resistant. decades ago they said this was a progressive disease because they were treating it the wrong way
jason fung and other doctors talk about this on youtube extensively. it comes down to fixing diet. like eating only vegetables (low glycemic index), so your body re-adjusts to be able to process carbs properly (hence why you cannot eat high carbs/fats together as it will make things worse right now - and why kids are getting obese because they develop insulin sensitivy/ and then resistance early).
so you can eat only veg/potatoes to allow your body to try and reset and produce enough insulin to fix insulin sensitivity, over time, weeks/months, that diet will then lower your insulin resistance too. fasting helps lower insulin, and walking etc will improve insulin sensitivity.
it goes way beyond just calories. when you are insulin resistant even fasting the body struggles to break down fat as it cannot access it easily, but its not impossible.
there are tons of videos of his patients that show their blood work, and they all lost like 50+ lbs, some 100ls+. some 70+ years old.
just you have to make the effort, and stick at it for a couple of months, and then it will get a lot easier

I've heard on podcasts and from people in real life about reversing both types of diabetes but you just shrug off some possible good ideas. Instead bury your head in the sand with the same old advice Dr's and pharmaceutical companies give you so they make money off you and woe is me shit.
You're one of my favorite posters fix yourself bro it's doable.

Well for the first time I got 7.0 mmol/L this morning . The threshold is 4.0 - 7.0 , so we’re all gonna make it .
Srs though I read raw garlic lowers your blood sugar , so I ate a garlic clove b4 bedtime , plus my cinnamon
My breath is going to be stinky AF again , but it’s not like I’m married or something.
. I needed a snack at 1AM and against my better judgment ate a small bad of smoked almonds. I thought that was going to fk my numbers , but when I got up , but numbers were good .
I did chest yesterday also , so that probably helped . I purchased an arm sleeve for my right arm from Medi Chair last week , and here’s hoping it helps . For 140 bucks I at least hope it does.
Got my incline dumbbell presses up to 55 pounders , although that’s not great it’s a start . The pain was nominal, and I find the lat machine seems to aggravate the tendons more than anything atm , so I’m hoping the sleeve helps mitigate it a bit tomorrow

check out Chromium - very cheap supp - lowers blood sugar.
When Blood Sugar is High: The pancreas uses beta cells to produce insulin, which acts as a "key" to let sugar into your cells for energy and storage. When Blood Sugar is Low: Insulin production drops, and alpha cells release glucagon. This signals the liver to convert stored glycogen back into glucose, bringing your blood sugar back up to a healthy range.
Berberine: Often compared to prescription medication, it helps improve insulin sensitivity and reduces how much glucose your liver produces.
Magnesium: Deficiency is common in those with insulin resistance, and supplementing can improve how your cells process glucose.
Cinnamon Extract: Compounds in cinnamon act similarly to insulin, helping your cells absorb glucose more effectively.
we're all gonna make it brah. keep doing what you are doing. the walking/lifting combo helps insulin sensitvity 100%, and reduces the stored glycogen in your body. once that is glyocgen stores are lower, and insulin resistance starts to lower too because you fixed your insulin sensitivity, the weight will start to fall off.
and with the fixed diet, that is more than what most 2 type diabetics attempt to do. you re going at it the right way

The only treat I’m having daily is a smoothie made with frozen berries , Greek yogurt and milk . It does take the edge off thankfully.
Also I purchased some cinnamon that comes from the Appellation mountains , but it’s not really helping atm according to my meter . Taking a glove of garlic b4 bed to , but no results yet .
I have read though that they both have worked for lowering blood sugar

On another note , it looks like I may have to buy a few kettle bells , as I found a video on YT and the guy has these exercises to improve tendonitis using kettle bell swings . Apparently it helps gets the blood flowing into the tendons better so that they can heal quicker. Some people commented that they got great results, so I’m kind of stoked.
Pisses me off as I had a company that wanted to fly me to Kelowna for some part time work , but lifting 80 pound batteries and power supplies is going to aggravate the fk out of my tendons atm

keep doing what is working brah
you have to just work at fixing your body and the numbers will fix themselves over time
lifting, move, eat clean. fast 12+ hours a day (that can include sleep. 10pm-10am etc). let your body naturally reset.
dont kill yourself lifting, any weights is good enough. just to improve insulin sensitivty and burn through some stored glycogen. day after day, will get back to full health
we're all gonna make it

u think u know pain none of us know the pain of being laughed at for ur dick imagine the humiliation that hurts deep i am willing to bet micro penises owners actually have a significant lower life expectancy due to it srs
women love to downplay the importance of dick size saying it doesn't matter when it's actually very very important women talk about it all the time but they will ofc still say "men care more" when the truth is that MT wouldn't have any issues if women actually didn't care hmm strange how that works right

Tbh I thought I’d weigh myself once a month and see if I’m improving. Some good news , my vision came back . Chit was blurry AF and I finally relented and bought my first prescription glasses .
But now that my eye got better (I’m almost blind in my right eye from a virus attack in 87 ) the glasses are making things worse . I believe you have 2 weeks to try new glasses, so I think I may have to get tested first a new prescription.
I’m at the lightest I’ve been for the past decade at least , and want to go at it hard till I’m under 200 . I’ve found a spaghetti that has no wheat whatsoever and tastes great . Got my chocolate covered now as I found out the chocolate store in the mall has a sugar free chocolate that tastes really good .
Also there’s a yogurt shop that has a sugar free yogurt that tastes pretty good and gives me another safe option for a treat once in a while .
The only chitty part is I’d like a dozen beer once every 6 weeks, but apparently bing drinking is hard AF on the pancreas and may be a set back , so it looks like I’m going to have to stay sober .(for now )
I’m regaining some of my strength, but have a long ways to go . Definitely taking it slow in order to not aggravate things more than necessary that could lead to an injury.
Got 60-12 with dumbbells on flat bench during today’s workout. I think it’s going to be a while till I’m benching 90‘s again , if ever , but whatever.
Tennis elbow is still burning like a beotch , but I swear I may have made some headway with a new exercise for tendonitis that I seen on YT recently involving pendulum swings .
Anyways with my walking 6 days a week and pumping iron again , plus eating a very low carb diet , I’m certain things are going to improve

Thx for asking .

Changing the subject , I can’t believe how good my vision returned . This was totally unexpected.
I did my best squats today . I know 135-6 isn’t much , but it’s an improvement for me seeing as I was having difficulty with 95 pounds a few weeks ago .
I imagine I’ll be back to 165-12 again soon the way things are progressing. I can’t really exceed 165 , as when I get to 175 and up I have a tendency to pinch a nerve in my back from a previous dirt biking injury , so it’s best to just increase reps

I’m going to weigh myself tomorrow morning and see if anything has changed , but I doubt it.
I have eaten zero wheat or anything associated with bread , spaghetti, lasagna etc. Mostly eating steak and chicken for dinner with veggies, and either soup in the late mornings or omelettes .
I have been treating myself to frozen yogurt from this frozen yogurt shop in town and they use stevia as a sweetener so my levels don’t change and I shouldn’t see any eight gain from that . I do about a half pint of that 5 days a week
Anyways hopefully chit starts improving weight wise , and on a good note I definitely feel better all the time.
Faurk , ded srs I miss my beer towers the most though . I am definitely disappoint about that

I mean being at 248 is certainly better than when I peaked at 299 a few years ago , but I’d sure like to shed another 50

I’m sure if I lost 8- more pounds and ate a piece of cake my blood sugar would probably still go through the roof . Tbh it’s fking near a death sentence. No more treats, no more alcohol . You may as well ldar lol , but we’ll see how it goes .
Still fat AF , but I noticed my Rogue belt is almost at its limit and probably won’t go small enough soon .
