Who fired the first salvo in this supposed "war"? Because I know it wasn't Iran. They were totally okay just chilling, the Strait was open and everything was hunky dory until somebody else stepped in and fucked it all up. And then was fully supported by your lovely government.

And I guess that nobody cares about PAKISTAN having nuclear weapons, because they are totally stable and not a warfaring country at all. Get the nuclear weapon argument out of your Trump sucking mouth, because it's a non-starter when there are other countries that are much bigger threats who already have them.

I knew when I wrote my post that liberals and Jew-haters like you and Booboo would be all over me. You all admit you would rather have a middle East that is on fire, with no oil and energy stability. Iran is not just a threat to Israel. Iran is or was a threat to world peace and a threat to the global economy. All you guys repeat is Jews this and Jews that. I don't even think about Jews. The global economy needs certainty and the enemy of that is uncertainty.
Everything you say is so disconnected from reality it's not even worth responding to in a serious way. You're essentially regurgitating a media created five year old's narrative of the middle east. You probably typed that whole thing out with a pacifier in your mouth.

I have said this before and I will say it again. First, don't accuse me of sucking up to Trump. However, the decision to go to war with Iran was to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon, no matter how close or far that was. IMO, that decision was made as a risk to take now, for our children and the future. Imagine Iran with a nuke. What would that do to the energy markets and markets overall, which would affect everyone's retirements, i.e. 401ks and stocks. Then imagine other ME countries in a nuclear arms race. What would be the end game? Even if Iran didn't nuke Israel, the global economy would be held hostage with massive uncertainty.

Take Israel out of the equation. I don't think about Israel, as much as you and everyone accuse me of. I want more certainty and stability in the ME for us and our children.

I retract the F%%% you.

It was loosely on-topic and related to "threats to the global economy" as justification for starting a war with Iran.

If "uncertainty" was really that important, I don't see how you could also be in favor of tariffs and starting wars.

I feel like maybe what you want to say is that Iran was a threat to Israel's economy, and somehow any threat to Israel is a threat to the rest of the world.

I can see you're trying to take Israel out of your argument, but the logic doesn't follow. Iran wasn't a threat to the US.

I would also point out that an energy producing country such as Iran having an ability to defend themselves could likely lead to more stability and certainty in the ME, and the global economy.

So what is the danger from Iran having nukes that is different from Israel, Pakistan and Russia having them already?

The reasoning that they can't have nukes is based off of the completely bogus premise that Iran is a suicidal regime that once they get nukes, they would immediately start a nuclear war and ensure their annihilation. Of course this is a retards viewpoint of geopolitics pushed by zionists to create hysteria and support for war amongst the American people. However, for those of us who don't have 80 IQs, we judge a state actor by their behavior- not by their rhetoric or accusations made by their enemies. Since Midnight Hammer, the Iranian state has behaved rationally and proportionally. Nothing they have done has shown them to be a suicidal regime, completely divorced from rational thinking. The real reason we don't want them to have nukes is because that will solidify them as a regional power and limit Israeli expansion. However, I do prefer they not have them and i'm against nuclear proliferation generally. However, there are smart ways to do things and completely dumb fuck retarded, ways to do things and unfortunately Trump prefers the latter

The uranium is still inside Iran, and they have so far not agreed on giving it up...

Nothing has really been accomplished so far in this conflict, definitely not the main objective (getting Irans uranium)... Trump has not ended Irans nuclear ambitions as long as their enriched uranium is located inside the country.

The Trumpster desperately needs a course correction now that this pointless war is over with (hopefully?)

The house for sure is lost, he needs to laser focus on minimizing senate losses and to stop making a mockery of the economic conditions

We went in a gigantic circle and our back atvthe starting line get trumpers, wanna act like this is a big victory. I'm glad it's over. It was a lose, lose for everybody if it continued, and now it's really about damage control. The wild card is the israelis and whether or not they will continue to pummel lebanon, because iran set the precedent that they will respond against israel if hezbollah is attacked
