Shirt may not be terrible, can't really tell from the pic.

At 5'8 I agree a lot of girls are taller than you (I see it everyday) but I don't really care since I still get checked out a lot. The only thing that sucks is being around tall guys but if you're good at talking you'll fit in fine.
At 5' 8" a lot of girls are taller than you? do you even think before posting? the average girl is 5' 5". Very small minority are 5'9" +.

Always wondered what it would be like to be a manlet...

On second thought, are manlets even real people? I mean lmao seriously, I feel like they're only half human. They're kinda cute though, especially when I'm at Costco and one of these little guys comes waddling up to me and asks me to get something off one of the shelves for him. I think I may capture one and take it home as a pet. Anyone know what manlets like to eat???

Depends where in public you're talking about.

In the richer parts of town or at the campus at University, most guys tower over me and the average girl is like 5'7", so I tend to feel short there. Sometimes I'll feel self-conscious about it, sometimes I won't depending on my mood.

In immigrant-dominated neighborhoods I really don't notice my height, because people tend to be shorter there for some reason.

The only time I'll feel really chitty about my height is if I overhear someone comment about it or if a girl sneers at me upon looking at my stature. This one time I was walking towards the locker room at the campus gym and I overheard the receptionist, who was a girl, ask the other receptionist, who was a tall guy, "How is this guy so short?", to which the guy replied, "It's basic genetics, not everyone gets to be tall." Really made me feel chitty.

I'm ugly based on what picture? The one I posted in this thread? I'm no looker, but I wouldn't say that I'm ugly either; ugly is used to describe people who are unbearable to look at.

Unless you're speaking in terms of fashion/ style, my shoes fit my feet perfectly; they're my actual size. Also, the rest of your suggestions are stupid superficial ones that don't really matter. F*ck off.

I'm not gonna pretend my height is ideal, but I date and smash above average girls, have a decent job, ect. fortunately face > height.

Never had a woman turn me down over my height OP. Confidence is massive. Also obviously being good looking and aesthetic helps too.

You know what's worse than being in public? Being in a class room of mostly girls and almost all the girls are taller than you. Lol, had a class like that for one semester where every girl was at least 5'5" and at least three were pushing 5'11". One girl was legit 6'3". There were only four girls shorter than I was.

One of those 5'11" girls apparently had a crush on me though, but I was intimidated from her and didn't do chit so I gave off the vibe that I was a beta ******* so her puss dried up quick.

While I recognize you're trying to be funny, there is an element of truth to that. Good posture comes naturally from confidence. This obviously has tangible effects on height and affects how people perceive you.

In on another BluMuscle pity me, world is against me, feel sorry for me thrad.

Bro 5'8''. Tallest height average for females in the U.S. are white at 5'5''. The shortest is 5'2'' - Hispanic/Latino. That means you have 3 inches minimum on most women. Average height for guys is 5'9.5'', so you're a bit shorter but not crazy short.

You still fail to realize how you keep projecting your insecurities into the world. You walk around sad and feel down and feel like everything is against you. It rubs people wrong, no one likes being around a debbie downer. So what you're a bit shorter, fukkin put a smile on your face and do with what you got. Now if you were fukkin 5'5'' or 5'2'' then I'd def feel bad for you, but you can fuk off at 5'8''.

LMAO at how much coping there is itt. Brb can't get girls, the only possible explanation is because I'm slightly below average height. It totally can't be my bitter personality, low confidence and low self esteem.

There are plenty of manlets in hollywood. has, the misc addressed this? and the rock who is tall is completely bald and vin diesel is a bad manlet. jason stathom bruce willis all bald, but not all manlets.
Tom cruise zack ephron taylor lautner josh hutchinson
Apparently Hollywood and America disagree with the misc about height and baldness
Hollywood could easily phase these, guys, out for freddie prince junior types and channing tatums. just like there, it's an abundance of Chad's there are, an abundance of tall actors with good hair.. and we aren't even getting into comedians like ben stiller, or any of the dudes, in grown ups or the guys fromlet's be cops.

I dont think height Matters unless it matters to you

Some 5'10" or 5'11" girl seemed kind of interested in me, I thought she was just friendly and never asked her out. Not intimidated though, I'm kind of into tall girls. Just not a room full of them making me feel like a 10 year old, nomsayin?

I'm 6'5 (ignore stats) and I often feel bad near shorter guys. Some of them have grand confidence which is preferable, but there are those who are spiteful. It's not hard to tell the difference. If I can pick up on that chit, girls can too. I still haven't figured out how to act around the second camp.

The heights of the girls I've hooked up with so far are 5'9, 5'7, 5'4 and 5'0.

The tallest girl I've ever had be into me I think was 6'1, but I was intimidated as chit from her, especially since she was also good looking.
