In actuality communism has nothing to do with equality. Technically, a communist nation can say "a doctor will be given x amount more of this and that than a janitor." The dynamic aspect of such a system would allow for governments to offer bigger incentives to fill roles which people don't normally want to fill. Need more doctors? Offer more incentives to be one. It's very similar to capitalism in that aspect.

?Firstly, I'm not American. I am, however, interested how you think the US is like that. They are about as capitalistic a country as there is. Unless you mean that there is corruption in government, which, of course, is true anywhere. Hence why small government is usually better and more efficient. Less dependence on the corruption and more on individual enterprise.
